I got this call on my message bank and just tossed it away. I should have passed it to the fraud squad. If they get enough
complaints they should be able to nail these scumbags with the help of a "victim". They don't seem to be rocket scientist.

just got a call from jason o'conner from the a.t.o for tax evasion. indian voice come on jason not convincing you idiot. his number was (03) 5234 5035. beware,

This prick is now using a Vic number (03) 5234 5035 He has scammed my daughter out of $5,000 threatening her with arrest. She cried for 2 days after she realised it was a scam.
It was the Taxation Department scam

Jason Oconner with Filipino accent called my mother's house. No person's name mentioned Said to call back on this no (02) 6064 2010 When I called, Phone was answered stating "Australian Taxation Office" The lady with Indian accent was very professional. She stated she is Taxation Investigator.Stating that there is Arrest Warrant . Very firefighting, startling and shocking experience for her and me. Giving only 1hr to pay $5000 or Police will arrest. Thank god for internet age. Typed the fu... name and this site came up. 27November 2016

I got the call from Jason last night. His return call number was (02) 6064 2010. I assume the ATO has been alerted by now.

Jason O'Connor (02) 6064 2010 is the number I got. 2nd call in a week at work.

Jason O'Connor left a message on my landline that I was in trouble for 'willful tax evasion and fraud.' The number he left was (02) 6140 3438. I tried ringing but it was busy. Hope that one of you was ringing his phone off the hook. My daughter, who has just filed her first tax return, was scared that she did something wrong! What does he get out of this? I'm very glad that I googled this and found out it was a scam.

Just received a message on my answering machine from good old Jason OConnor from the ATO . Number he is now operating under is (03) 5234 5058 . Such a tool . I hope everyone is switched on , and doesn't fall for this scam . Might give the local police a call , just to see what can be done .

Came home to the same voice message from Jadon o connel. I kept listening to the message and realised that he did not mention my name and something sounded dodge. What a sick d*ckhead could really tip some poor sod over the edge.

Happened to me yesterday, left a message to contact ATO urgently... Same spiel, however, I though it was real so called back today. I was told I was going to be arrested and would go to jail for three years. I was extremely upset and crying and was told by him that I must be guilty if I was so upset. I couldn't stop so he hung up. I then called a policeman that I knew who told me it would never happen like that and to call the taxation office. I did and was immediately reassured it was a scam and that I was not being arrested. It's made me feel a little silly that I fell for it and quite vulnerable.

Received a phone call from Jason O'Conner this morning on my answering machine asked to ring him on 02083171152. Saying the same as all above.

He just called my work number.
The number he used was 8317 1152

I have just come home to a message on my message bank from Jason O'Connor. He is now using phone (02) 8317 1152. This is an overseas number which is routed through a Sydney STD number. Be careful if you are ringing him back, you may be getting charges
for International calls.

Jason O'Conner left FOUR messages today on our answering machine - what an unbelievably funny scam! He rang my mother as well and after telling him he should get a proper job she asked him for his name again and he said it was Steve Smith, captain of the Australian cricket team, then hung up!

Got the phone call today, 13 October 2015. He has now changed his number to (02) 6140 3486

Jason left me the same automated message with call back number (02) 6140 3490. I tried calling back to call his bluff but he wouldn't answer :( punjabi scammer. Sheesh I've had half a dozen in the past two weeks and all Indian. Why are they allowed to register an Australian number when they are overseas?
