As per everyone else on this page, called asking if I had had an accident. They were very vague, I asked them which accident, what are the details, and the bloke hung up on me. I dearly hope no-one falls for this, sad bastards preying on the vulnerable.

Scam

Had this number call this evening asking if anyone in the house had been in an accident within the last week. When asked for details were very vague. Just hung up on them.

Just received a call from the lovely Indian sounding "Ally Thompson" who works for "AC Hedge Lawyers" in Perth, in regard to my recent car accident.
I googled the company which of course doesn't exist and then tried to ring (08) 9467 4216) back, which resulted in the phone automatically hanging up on me.
Tried to ring the alternative number I found on here, (08) 9467 4212, which was a Skype thing which did not recognise my number and so would not work either.
I had no car accident and I have a private home phone number so this is doubly annoying.

Call from this number just now. Lady with an accent from an "accident department". Had I or a family member had a car accident recently. Replied "No, why are you asking?" she hung up.

This number has only called once ........ I am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTER but that doesn't seem to stop ANY telemarketers. Anyway, I didn't answer the phone because I didn't recognise the number. I never answer unknown numbers. I have no time for scammers or beggars.

Called our business asking about someone who had an accident. Said no one had. Asked me if I was sure. Said yes. Asked for more details about 'the accident' got a load of sh*t about respecting privacy. Asked why they were trying to scam us. He hung up 🙄

I just call I didn't ring it went and looked on computer and it come up I had answering machine
no message left.I dont drive or have a car at my address.
Tell them leave people alone as I am disabled and cant drive car.

just about had enough of people ringing me telling me I have had an accident. A indian or asian man keeps ringing, this last time he got a very loud umpire whistle in his ear.

Mum (86 years old) just received a call, which frightened us as we thought someone in our family had had a car accident. One month after open heart surgery, she doesn't need this crap! They prey on the vulnerable and someone, who can, needs to act to protect people.

Stated somebody with my landline number had a car accident.
I asked who and was told they didn't know and were asking me to tell them who.
I told him my accident was reported to the police but didn't give landline as my number.
Told him he wasn't with the police so he hung up. BIG SCAM

They keep calling us non stop!

They are Insurance SCAMMERS. Do not give them any details about yourself. They will ask for your name, date of birth, police case number and insurance clam number as well as the location of the accident.

I had a call today from (08) 9467 4216 telling me that they are from Accident Investigation Department asking me if I have has a accident in the lasts 21/2 years.
Suspected is was a scam so I had a look onto the internet and found this on Scam Net http://www.scamnet.wa.gov.au/scamnet/Scam_Types-Phone_Scams-Car_Crash_Compensation_Phone_Scam.htm. Decided to play along giving them a fake name, location date of birth, accident report number and insurance clam number before telling then just as I was about to hung that I know that they are SCAMMERS and all the information was false.

Numerous calls, never interact.

Got a call yesterday afternoon - very vague - compensation for an accident that happened in the past two years - started answering then decided against further info - they tried pushing about it being a 'legal process', so I just asked them to email me info - still wants to call back next week - I said to leave it as I don't believe it as they don't sound very legitimate - as above, trust no-one does get caught..

re accident claim indian accent calling himself michael watson said i was in an accident and that he was from the rta i told him that no longer exist and to send me a letter with all the details then hung up

Received a call today from Indian sounding lady - said that someone at this number had been involved in an accident. Told her firmly, that no one had been in an accident and hung up. Scammers again!
