I sam so sick and tired of these numbers calling me i hardly ever use my landline nowadays but i still have a couple of friends that call me on this number but all i ever get is scam phone calls i am on the do not disturb register as well thatis a joke it doesn't stop anyone and i don't eventhink they register the numbers.

Just was called from 'Accident & Investigation'

He said 'someone in your family had an accident'. I relied 'oh really, who?' He said 'I dont know madam, you have to tell me.'

What an absolute joke. PLEASE kindly F Off with this scam.

Just had two calls from this number, lady claimed that I had an accident in the last year.

Another 'hang up' call. No message left.

Indian accent telling me I was hit on the back in my car 12 months ago. I told him he is a scammer but insist he is legal and wish to sue the driver. I asked who is the driver but wont tell me. He is all bullsh*t and then hang up.

So I got a call from this number and an India guy started to call me Sir Sir, so I have had a bad day in the office and there is the guy I can scream and swear at ....after that I feel much better, thanks for the call!

Yep I too had a call from this number purporting to be n insurance company or the like (the guys a really bad accent) inquiring about an accident I was in. The problem I haven't been in one and when I asked him to provide my rego number he couldn't. .

Same same, private number and I answered. Had just put our dog down so you bet your a__ they got the full extent of my temper!!

Had the same call just now. He hung up on me when I asked what details he had on the car that was in the accident.

I received a call from these "people" today, and have received phone calls from them before. Who do I complain to about this?

Got a call from this number. Indian accent - claimed to be from the Accident Investigation Bureau - hung up after I asked who were they calling for.

had phone call from this number (Indian male), claiming to be from the "Accident Investigation Unit" he asked to talk to the person who had been involved in the car accident. As we havent been involved in any car accidents, I ask him to tell me what car he was talking about. He promptly hung up on me.....................Scam

Had the same thing twice kept saying I am calling about a accident that happened 2 years ago as someone was hit in the rear end. When I asked who they were after she/he as I had one call after another said, "It was an accident you had 2 yrs ago". I replied, "Who are you after? give me a name" she said, "Mr Johnson" I replied, "No Mr Johnson here" she then said, "Sorry wrong number". Very insistent hope they call again so I can play along with it. Again told me she was from legal aid working for a lawyer to which I told her if she was working for a lawyer she would have the name of the person she was trying to contact. BLAH BLAH BLAH...They must honestly think people are stupid. What a bunch of wanks!

Received a call from this number, person said he was from the accident investigation centre and said something about an accident. i just hung up.
Have not been involved in an accident in several years.

I Just had a call from this number with a name named "Sam" with a very strong accent. Asking if i had been in an accident or someone in my family has. as they called a business number i said no and he abruptly said okay and hung up.
Have caller ID and always wqrite down number searched and found this page!

Had a call from Brian (Indian accent) 5 minutes ago (10:12am on 3.4.17) saying he was from the Accident something!! I just yelled that I had heard of this scam. Nobody in our family has had an accident so GOODBYE!!!!!!!!! We are on the Do Not Call Register!!!!!!! Who gave him my number???????????

3 phone calls today from (08) 9467 4216, an Indian gent saying he was from Sydney Claim Lawyers in Perth. Someone in our house had a car accident in the last 3 years & I'm entitled to money. He kept asking was this true & I refused to answer until he could tell me my name & address. He gave me some other womans name & address in Bindoon. I told him it wasn't me, but he still insisted on asking if I'd had a car accident.

Rang our store and wanted to know if someone here had been in a car accident. Obviously trying to somehow scam us and being very insistent.

On two consecutive days I received a call from this phone number. On both occasions the callers had Indian sounding accents and started the call by saying that I had been in a car accident in the past 12 months and wanted my personal details. I told them that I hadn't and when I asked if they could confirm my vehicle's registration number they said they weren't allowed to give out information for privacy reasons. On the first occasion the lady caller said that they must have got the wrong information and terminated the call. The second caller was more insistent so I just hung up on him. I definitely haven't been involved in a car accident in the past 12 months so they couldn't have got my details from any insurance claim. I don't know how they got my phone number as it is a silent number. Maybe they are just using a random number generator? but that wouldn't explain 2 phone calls over 2 days.
