Same guy claiming someone **** was involved in the car accident. Tried to call me several times when i have a silent number. Reported him as a scam!

Received call today from 9467 4216. changing my number

Indian accent, kept trying to tell me that accident claim was made ...

Had a girl call and tell me I had been in a car accident. When I made up some details about an accident, she told me I was wrong. When asked where she was from she said Sydney Claim Lawyers. I then questioned why she was calling from a WA phone number. Apparently their head office is in Perth but they are called Sydney Claim Lawyers?? She didnt stick around for any further questions...

Hung up on me after I said Hello, Good Afternoon,
they might have thought I sounded young.
Glad I found these comments it is now saved as IGNORE in my phone. :)

Got a call from them today on my work number asking the same thing - about an accident, compensation etc. I don't even have any accident in the last two years and they kept hiding behind the "Privacy Law" when you start asking them for more info of "this" accident. I am glad I found this site otherwise I would have spent time unnecessarily to find out this law firm called ACH based in Adelaide Tce, Perth (which does not even exist) and even gave me a reference no. for "this" case. And the accent that they tried to put on really puts me off and I can't hear a thing what the "supervisor" is trying to tell me!!

Had someone call me from this number today asking if anyone in the house has had a car accident in the last year - ...so much for being on the do not call register..idiots!

These people are most likely involved in an identity theft racket. They may even have info about you already, but on no account give them any personal information. Also make sure your online banking is as secure as possible.

ACH Legal Lawyers called about an insurance claim for "inconvenience". It was ANZAC day, 25 April 2017. Number given was (08) 9467 4216. Basic and lame scam.

Indian sounding gentleman calls me on ANZAC day from 94674216 claiming to be from Accident Investigation Section. Obvious scam! I agree with other comments and don't understand how our telco's can't just disconnect the number. My daughter was involved in an accident in the last month and also feel that our details have been sold by a reputable company to a scam company.

JLR I hope you scared them more because as soon as I get a location on this one (being in Perth maybe) he/she will get whats coming to him/her......

Yeah we had this call and I said how could I be in a Car accident I dont have any LEGS to drive a Car in the first place - as soon as they heard that they hung up

I know that its a bought number as my mate tells me its from a old disused number and he can find out where it is as he works for TELSTRA so I hope I can get a location and maybe something can be done to a LOT of these callers

This number phoned silent landline - didn't recognise the number - esp. from WA - thought if it was important, they would leave a message. They didn't - now if they were ringing to tell us that somebody in the household is entitled to receive a compensation payout for a so-called car accident, then surely they would leave a message...lol

I got a call today about an apparent accident i was involved in. Same as the others - a gentleman with a very strong Indian accident.

No JP, has nothing to do with those companies. We received same phone call today having been with the same insurance company for decades. You would have received this phone call whether you were enquiring into insurance companies or not. It is simply a coincidence. The phone call you received (like our call) was randomly selected from as Bobby above puts it, "these idiots"!!!

Oh so glad i saw this, i have received the same call from people calling from 94674216 (asian accent) asking for my husband. he was away at the time and they couldnt give me any details. Everytime that call they are vague and keep asking for details which i refused to give. It was stressing me out as it wasnt until the 4th time they called they said as my husband was in a not at fault accident, (after asking if anyone was hurt) that we were due compensation.

Just missed a call, actually I chose not to answer. No message was left. Interestingly, we have been looking at insurance quotes too!
