I was on the receiving end of these types of call until I used the following line:
"Before you start talking to me, I am obliged to inform you that I am recording this conversation and this recording may be used as evidence in future prosecutions: do you agree to be recorded?". They hang up.

Same here, 6 phone calls a day, these people are very rude and will not give up

Love these calls never use my home phone only have it for internet cheaper to have a mobile but I have msg bank on my home phone got home from work had 62 msg all from same number I just play with them ask them to talk dirty and say what u wearing then they hang up and call again talk more dirty than they hang up again did this and calls stop India is very conservative and this is extremely distressing for them as it causes embarrassment to them so try regardless if it male or female they are really naive about dirty talk enjoy all

i have never used the f... word on the phone before, 25 calls in 3 hours, some indian women screeming on me, i told her to get lost, can telstra o somebody block that number,?

Same as everyone else, however if you call them direct and tell then you wish to be placed on their do not call list or you will call the TIO then that should work (takes 48 hours) their number is 1300 307 024 - good luck....oh and if you abuse them, they get all their friends to increase the call volume to your number

Repeated calls, of the past week or so, they have increased the calls to more than 5 a day. Has often started with "We are calling from your telephone company", but the last one said she was calling from Bris Tel or similar.

I Am receiving 10 calls a day last 2 weeks.Told him to p$&@ off and he abused me. I then advised him I will insert my cordless phone up his $&@& when I track him down. Do not call register does not work for these gits!

Heaps of calls from them every 20mins.Someone suggested that i call to telstra to block the no. Telstra have waffled about dealing with them. Telstra can't block the outcoming calls. Did registered donotcall but have to wait for 30days until they do some action for it. As someone suggested here, I called TIO but tell stil call me. I tried all efforts to stop it but there is no solution upto now.

After receiving 27 calls in 14 days I phoned the TIO and within 24 hours I received an apology email from Just Telco advising I had been placed on their internal do not call list - hope it works. At least if the calls continue I have a contact at TIO and further action can be taken.

These people are absolute pests!! I've lost track re: how long they have been calling. Initially when I'd answer the call, they would hang up - so frustrating. We've told them we're not interested and asked them to stop calling us but they won't let up! The last couple days I haven't even bothered answering the phone anymore but it's really starting to get on my nerves. It's getting worse since my husband & I both told them last week not to call us again. Yesterday 11 calls between midday & 7pm. Today they have already called 5 times in the space of 2 hours - the last 3 calls have only been 10mins apart or less! It's criminal! Same mob (I'm pretty sure) also ringing from an overseas private number ... which would make it 6 calls today!! Not happy!

another muppet trying to scam you To find out who they are ( the phone account is held by) when you put the details in to the piss poor telstra complaint form put the phone number of the wank caller in the to box and the system will call you back with the automated crud BUT will ask for the owner of the entered number write this name down, then you can give this phone number to the cops ALONG with there name that or you can go and give them a nokia suppository or break all there fingers depending on your level of annoyance.

Something should be done about these criminals, 10 calls today.

Been called frequently by these guys. First time they called I answered but caught on to their scam within seconds, told them to email their offers and The accountholder would look at them at their pleasure. Considering that if they ring again I might answer the phone, tell them they have been placed in a queue, there are 15 people in front of them and then proceed to play the dodgiest annoying kids songs back to them till they give up. Just for a bit of fun...

I am receiving calles for last 6 months and totally fedup, these guys are indian and was thinking to call up indian counslate to complain. I also get overseas number call with same #@$*& indian ascent

yes cheese encrusted scammers hard to say if its outright fraud or a debt collector muppets when they the male or female I had both with in a few hrs of each other ffs they are not very bright simply make a complaint to Telstra or your telco ( that's who they claimed to work for) about abusive phone calls.

( the police will tell you to do this strangely enough with out taking any details so it no wonder women and kids get killed by abusive partner's and the like do you agree) and get the process started to nail there shriveled ball sacks to the wall

note that you do this with any harassing phone calls form telemarketers that way there calls are traced and you can do something about it like get there phones turned off permanently and that of the company's they contract to.

and last but not least have a very loud high pithed whistle to blow in to the phone to deafen the frakers just for fun.

These idiots have been calling 5+ times per day for the past 2 weeks. Spoke to Telstra, and it is NOT their number. They have 2 numbers and a private that they like to use. I'm at my wits end and this is harassment. They know my name, my plan and my address.
