I have been getting calls from this number for weeks. The last time I got to speak to anyone I told them to stop ring as I don't have a landline. I cancelled it after so may calls from them, holding up the line. I was getting up to 20 a day. nearly every 20 minutes. I now have a divert on my phone to my mobile because I run a business. Since I told them I don't have a landline, they have been calling and getting diverted to my mobile. Still every half hour. The phone rings once and then they hang up or they ring at night when I turn the phone off and let it go to message bank and then hang up. (03) 8644 2948 this number has been calling for over 3 weeks - I have reported them to the telemarketers authority which slowed them down for a week then they are back, keep telling me they want to talk about my Telstra landline ! huh, dont have Telstra and havent had for over 2 years - I dont know how they get paid but they sure arent going to get anywhere they way they go about maketing - the number reverse search comes up as Sarif - obviously a portal for an overseas telemarketing company. surely the telecommunications authority can cancel these lines We receive ongoing calls from this number nuscance calls ... i have had this number (03) 8644 2948 call me at 10.52, 12.18,12.56 and 1.08. Each time told them nicely I'm not interested, last one i asked to talk to the manager, he said he was a manager and was being smart with me saying that it's impossible for them to have called me so many time.... ummmm... hello. Caller ID!!! d*ck Heads. I had this number calling me continuously so I decided to tell them that I work for a telecommunications company and don't pay for phone calls so how would their discount work??? They hung up and have not called back since. A little white lie wont hurt anyone especially if it gets rid of these ridiculous phone calls, Played phone tag with these wankers this afternoon & they pissed me off because I was just starting to enjoy myself & they stopped calling. I am now working on a better approach so I can piss them off & have fun at the same time. I realise they must get paid by how many of their callers actually pick up but I figure it's worth the 1cent they probably get paid because if you piss them off enough they really lose it & show just how unprofessional the organisation they work for is. Even though it appears Australian law doesn't apply to these wankers I believe somewhere in the "telemarketers code of practice" there must be a condition that states the amount of contacts to any one phone number must be set to a certain amount per day, week & month. Because Australian law is such a toothless tiger these wankers just laugh & keep harassing those who don't enjoy the challenge as I do. DON'T GET MAD GET EVEN. Enjoy the ride, trust me it feels good when the wanker on the other end gets so frustrated they hang up on you or swear obscenities or threaten to keep calling & if you have caller id you can just ignore them for the rest of the day, or you can keep sticking it up them. These morons call up to 10 times a day we contacted our carrier but they still call. Smal business is tough enough without having these constant calls we don't want BTW they claim to be Telstra why don't they care? I have had eleven call from these mongrels in the last hour! I said I wasn't interested and requested they don't call me again on the first call. Now they are calling and saying f@$k you etc. I called my local police station and they said the only thing I could really do is report them to the telecommunications ombudsman :/ Multiple calls hang up most times claim to be Telstra and have better deal than the plan I have but when I refused and pointed out I was in a black spot do had Internet problems he said I was lying. So installed caller id and no longer answer this number Keep ringing and hanging up. How do i stop them very frustrating when trying to run a business exactly, these people need to have their access to phones completely blocked and their phones disconnected, this number is obviously a cover for a call centre somewhere in Asia These guys are very constant and extremely rude. They just keep calling!! Members of my family have been goaded into arguments, and even when we have been polite these Indian sounding males and females have been uncomprehendingly rude! They do not even pretend to be polite and certainly do not listen when you ask them not to call. Clearly someone needs to explain the meaning of 'customer service' to these fools. Is there no accountability for this company and their employers?! I mean, what exactly are these guys selling anyway? They tend to call just to verbally abuse and harass people... Since I upgraded to a Telstra bundle I been receiving this calls as well I have been getting these on my mobile for the passed 4 weeks. I have them on my house phone too. in one week-end I had them ring 63 times. When I answer they hang up. I managed to speak to one guy. When I told him I would report him, he hang up and now rings and hangs up. I have also had the private ones too. Some of them say they are Telstra with a better deal and the other was to tell me that I had a problem with Windows, when there had not been a computer on for 2 weeks. I have to answer the mobile, as this is my business phone. I am very over this. As it has been said before they just keep changing numbers. Thankyou for the heads up. This number calls about 20 times a day but does not say anything and holds the line up for well over a minute. Frustrating to say the least until I googled the number.. Past two weeks, 10 calls everyday.
Was being nice to them at first saying that I have no interest however these idiots don't take No or doesn't know the word at all.
kept calling and I lost it today.

We had problems with telemarketers and our business number being a previous business. I cancelled our home/business number 18 months ago and just use mobiles. It didn't take to long to get our new details around the traps and i certainly don't miss the telemarketing calls and with a good mobile plan - it's heaps cheaper Ive had them ring 12 times today and they become frustrated when i asked for their home number so i could ring to piss them off every five minutes. finally he said ok i won't ring you again and we hung up, he rang back ten seconds later! do they get paid if we answer, there must be a reason they want you to answer other than to con and annoy you! maybe its like porn line, they get paid by the minute! these scammers have been calling non-stop for weeks now, we have told them to piss off but it falls on deaf ears, next I will begetting onto complaints same as above, he told me I was a bad woman, I told him he will be having bad dreams tonight with me in them
