Incoming from Wagga Wagga. Robot voice saying $x going to be deducted for my Amazon account. I blocked the caller.

Getting calls like this almost everyday.
Automated message claiming to be from Amazon telling me a large amount of money is going to be taken out of my bank account unless I press "1".

Got a call saying that a purchase was made through eBay, hung up on them as soon as I heard this. Scam.

Definitely a scam call. Said my Commonwealth Bank account had a problem I would be liable. I do not bank with them. Said goodbye and hung up.

Appearing to originate from Wagga Wagga, New South Wales
Robot caller left the following message:
“This is a confirmation call from eBay. We have received a purchase request of $299.99 and the same will be debited from your account automatically. If you want to cancel this, then press 1, or to claim for refunding, then press 2, or to talk to our representative, then press 9. Thank you.”

My virus protection (Trend) identified it as spam and rejected the call so I didn't get any fake spiel.

Caller claims to be from eBay and will debit $299 from my account unless I contact them. Recorded robot-like voice (female). Smells like a scam

Call from Wagga Wagga (02) 6917 1707 - did not answer but when checked the number, saw others had the same experience.
