Call came from Wagga Wagga. Dont know anyone in WW so didn't answer. Blocked the number. Looked it up and found your site with other similar stories to mine so thought I should report this call too. Thinking its a scam.

I havae just received an automated call to say that my Ebay account was about to have $500 taken from it. I hung up immediately and changed my ebay password even though they do not have my bank details. I had just logged onto Amazon Prime before the call so am changing my password on there too.

Caller: Scammer I just got the exact same call (Wagga Wagga) and she said the same thing, that my IP address had been compromised and they need to change my modem back to private. I asked for her name she said "Stacy" and I asked for her Employee Number because I wanted identification of who I was talking to and she hung up. I tried to call the number back and it was engaged. How the hell does this stuff keep happening in this day and age

Like other posts I chose not to answer as was showing call was from Wagga Wagga and I’m in Vic. Reading the previous posts I made the right choice.

Caller from Wagga Wagga claiming to be from Amazon Prime, something about its due for renewal and money would be direct debited from my account, I don’t have an Amazon Account in my name. I hung up and will now block the number. I wish these spam callers would bugger off
