Amazon , from Wagga Wagga, scam

Caller id showed Wagga Wagga..I didn't answer but message was left. It was automated message. " Ebay you have been charged $399 on your card and your iphone 7 will be dispatched in the next 24 hours. If you have not made any such purchases or trnsactions then kindly press 1 to speak to ebay customer service thank you.."

Caller: Purportedly a Telstra rep

Made a story about internet and need to access my computer.
I pretended to be walking my dog and managed to waste his time for 12 minutes.

The caller's number showed it originated from Wagga Wagga so I chose not to answer it. They didn't leave a message, so probably a scammer.

Displayed as calling from Wagga Wagga, when I answered there was silence so I hung up- suspected scam call

Just received a call from this number and my phone registered it as a Potential Fraud. I didn't answer.

The call to me also showed from Wagga. Said they had debited my eBay account for a couple of hundred dollars and that my new iPhone was on it's way to me. Couldn't have happened as they don't have current credit card details.

Me: “f*ck off with your scams”

Phoned twice. Automated robotic voice, said they were from Amazon. We have an Amazon account. Didn't follow their prompts - scam call.

keep calling , let me fill in bank account / perosnal info and download app "zoho assist -customer " to screen broadcast your phone

Robotic call stating to be from Ebay saying a certain about would be debited from my account automatically & to press 1 if I objected. I don’t have an eBay account, hung up

Didn't answer, but not surprised it's the Amazon Prime scam

The caller's number showed Wagga Wagga. I answered with a short hello, to be meet by a message from EBAY??? Hung up straight away.

apparently my internet is running slow... Give up, does anyone fall for these things?

One all today. Didn't answer as didn't know anyone with that number.

Said I need to pay $100 I THEN TOLD HIM HE WAS A SCAMMER AND HUNGUP

I don't have wi-fi at home, so he hung up on me LOL
