The caller's number showed it originated from Wagga Wagga so I chose not to answer it. Probable scammer.

The phone number came up on my mobile as being from Wagga Wagga in NSW. I don’t live in NSW.
He said he was from the NBN, and that they were concerned that it seemed other people were logging in to my wireless network since 10 IP addresses were logged in. I declined to answer how many people are in my household, and said I could check my current usage with my internet provider & ring him back. That was when HE hung up on ME! 😂

Call from Wagga Wagga (02) 6917 1707. Did not answer. Came straight after another call saying from Brisbane (07) 3521 3058. If was important they'd call back. Telstra needs to block callers from overseas highjacking our system by showing it is an Australian number.

Complete Scam. Called to say by credit card had been used on a transaction and did I approve the transaction. Couldn't tell me my name, credit card number or where the purchase came from. Hung up after I said it was probably the large order of sex toys from the the shop

Block the number, report to your phone app

Left a missed call SMS from 159 service

I have already set up my phone to receive calls and texts exclusively from those listing on phone book contact list.

I cannot afford to switch off 159 service just in case on missing important calls and messages.

What a dilemma!
