Didn't answer it but it's obviously either one of those silent calls that hang up or an actually scam. Do not pick up. It says they are from Liverpool in New South Wales but most of them are from overseas.

Caller: Apparently eBay

Automated: “Hi, this is eBay, you account has been charged $299. Press 1 if you’d like yo confirm this transaction or press 2 for cancellation and full refund.”

Me: Pressed 2

Automated : “Your call is important to us, you are next in the queue.”

Indian male accent picked up.

Them: “Hi sir, you reached eBay customer service centre. How can I help you!”

Me: “I’d like my $300 refund. Thank you.”

Them: “Not a problem sir. We will generate 9 digit cancellation number and if You are happy with that (like with what? Lol) I will transfer you to our “refund specialist” who’ll assist you. Sir, are you happy with this procedure?”

Me: “Yes, whatever it takes to get my free $299. I’m all for it.”

Them: Hung ip.

There is an automated lady's voice, that says: we called you to give you our latest offers on electricity and gas offers. Press 1 to call our agents press 5 to remove your phone from our calling list. I obviously pressed 5.

It's a scam call, don't answer.

Caller said was from Telstra and I had a problem with my internet and to go to my computer he would help me fix it. Obviously they wanted to get remote access into my computer and steal my passwords and other details as I did not have any problems with my internet and I am with OPTUS, not Telstra.

Robot eBay voice something about $299 going to be charged to my credit card - I am disgusted TELSTRA allows them to have this number so I have reported the number for disconnection to Telstra, ebay Australia, eBay legal in USA and the Aus gov cyber crimes and scam watch - you called the wrong person and now you’ll pay!

Claimed to be from “Telstra” after it took a while for them to come online after I picked up.
Said I didn’t have Telstra and then tried to tell me they control everything. Told him it was a scam and hung up.
