Scam... said they were from Telstra about a problem but since I have never dealt with Telstra, I called them out as a scam and they hung up

Caller: "Amazon" Supposedly about a subscription renewal, insisting that they have my number on the account and the money will be deducted, unless I go through the cancellation procedure

Caller: I don't know This is a scam. They play a recording of an automated voice saying that Amazon has detected fraudulent charges in your account and ask you to press a number to talk to somebody. This is obviously a scam and you should hang up and block the number.

This is a scam.
