Lion finance they ring a dozen times a day.. All different numbers. Have spoke with them got them to send so called debt owed... They sent me an electricity bill for a house I sold, bill was issued 6 months after I settled sale I didn't live in house n did not even have an account with that company nor had I ever. Told them this gave them all my documents proving this 18 months ago... Still they ring sometimes up to 8 times a day

I offered to pay them $20 but unless I give them all my personal details like how much I earn ect they won't accept it but keep harassing me idiots if you ask me grrr

These people keep harassing me even though I'm not the person they are looking for. Started calling from returnable numbers until I blocked them now call from unknown numbers so I can't block them

11:30 today got a call from CLH Group quoting this 1800 phone number and ref number. Wanted us to pass a message onto a neighbour 2 doors down. Said they were having trouble contacting them. husband not the sharpest tool in the shed was ready to go give the neighbour the info. I knew it was fishy so did a search and whammo! Another shonky mob using unethical means to recover supposed debt.
Not happening CLH!

I received a phone call from this company. I have no debts. They're making up debts & that's illegal. They are scammers & are also phishing for information. I've reported them to the ACCC. Ignore them & report them to the ACCC. They're trying to collect non existent debts & also phishing for information.

Boy have Lion finance got problems. I received a call from a so called agency who said they had bought the debt from lion finance. Asked me for my DOB and address..Even told me where the debt was from and why? Yet they have no right to do so because even though they called me by my name I never confirm unless I know where they are from. Also never give out your details to anyone you dont know. Maybe I am the dying breed that was honest and up front. This is a big scam.

You know trying to collect on debts that don't really exist is against the law.

These people are NOTHING MORE THAN PARASITES & it wouldn't surprise me if you were one of the leaders of the parasite callers!

One of my nieces has been getting calls from these asswipes for a debt she has already paid 12 months back & they are a joke.

With any luck this company will be investigated by the ACCC, so EVERYONE should make a point of complaining to the ACCC about this endless bullsh*t.

Next thing you know they will start making threats of personal harm to people.

Publicly available information...A lot of your information are sold to companies...just like when you apply for a rental property, that's how most of debt collectors get your number.

Your kidding yourself. If anyone called me asking about a neighbour, family member or a friend l would tell you to bugger off. You would never get any information from me about anyone apart from myself. And other people who give out information can be in alot of trouble. What a complete joke.

No! You don't have right to call up the neighbour and harass, who you never met and top of that ask them to do your dirty work? They are not your employee. Maybe in India you can. You can use every means to collect debt. But in Australia there is law. They can call twice a month or send letter once a mother, I called ASIC, they confirm. If any debt collector calls your neighbour and harasses, you can lodge a complain with ASIC or ACCC.

These day all the Indian opening up debt collection business, They see this as life time opportunity to make a quick buck. But non of them knows the laws in Australia and how it works.
These Indian don;t have ethic or moral compass either. Soonest they see money they see $$$. They think, they have god give rights collect that debt, by every means from debtors .

A phone message was left identifying the client and the reference number pertaining to their file. When we called back to advise that perhaps the client had given an incorrect address we were advised that they contact neighbouring homes. They were trying to track someone four homes down from us. Looking at the ridiculous comment from someone anon who works for Lion Finance saying that it was ok to ring neighbours to address their clients issues pretty much sums up the unprofessionalism of this company. Brandon (possibly anon) purportedly the manager is unlikely to take your call.

I pity the poor people who have got finance from these people.

Lion Finance stay away from them

Today this company called me and asked about a person who lived next door. They don't live next door. There was building renovations going on in the background. It was a building site , not a call centre. I have no idea what the hell they were talking about and just took as much information as I could get and will report it to the police ASAP

I have just had a call (before 9am) from person named Diane, asking about my neighbour across the road and giving me a referense number and the phone number to pass onto the neighbours. She also said that she would like to follow it up with me in a week. Now I see that she just want me to do her job. So, I am not distressing the neighbours, that i never talk to on a regular base to begin with. Sorry guys; you are paid for that, not me. Good try though. Cheers
