Definitely scammers, they are not allowed to call friends family neighbours, what destitute and desperate loser.

I work hard for my money and dont appreciate scammers thinking they can have a piece of it. Feel sorry for the vulnerable who are tricked into paying them

They can contact you if you do not pay your debt. It's not stalking ect. It is not a scam. If you have a letter on pink paper ect. It is probably from a neighbour who they have contacted because you are to inconsiderate to deal with your own bed debt and finances! I'm sure they hate getting the phone calls but it's your own faultif you don't want to sort it out. If you don't intend to pay it back don't borrow any money. They have legal rights and they are there to help you get out of the debt. They don't give anyone persoal info on you. If you call them and pay your own problems boom they won't call you. That simple.

Sandra. The debt can be legally sold and bought and you will still owe the money. This debt will stay on your credit record until such time as you resolve this. Settle it now and save yourself a lot of grief down the track. Yes they can sue you and once they get a judgment it is valid for 12 years and will accrue interest and other costs. One day out of the blue they may decide to enforce the judgment and that is when you will wish that you had settled it.

This is Lion Finance and is not a scam at all. If you are contacted by them it is because you probably have bad debt. The best thing i have found when dealing with this company is to talk to them and address the issue. You will find as i have if you dont have the means to pay any debt in full and you can prove that they will give you room to nagotiate with them to best suite your needs.
Those who have issues are usually those who have a chip on there shoulder or are just embarrased about their current debt situation.

They called stating they have "personal business matter" (which means collecting debt on behalf of someone else) very quickly I realised they were just guessing who they are contacting as the person they are 'alledgedly' after has a totally different DOB and address than me! Honeslty gobbsmacked at how unprofessional their practices are

We are in stage 4 lockdown and this company sends my neibour over. So they put my family in risk of covid and also my neibours family at risk.plus the risk of a $1652 fine. For a debt from a former tenant that no longer lives at the address as i bought the place. Im putting in a formal complaint with vic police aswell. And have video of my neibour time of arrival. You deserve to be shut down asap. This is not the correct way and time to do this.

I am sick of getting calls, that the debt is not even mine, when I rang the number and told them, they wanted my date of birth my husbands date of birth and my tax file number and my husband's tax file number? Piss off and stop ringing us we do not owe money to anyone except for the chemist.

Caller (male) from CLH Group (03) 4114 0892 called our unlisted private home number, wanting to speak to a specific person (family member). Won’t explain what CLH Group does nor explain how they obtained our phone number. Asked not to called again and to be removed from their system. Ended call.
Later, in a few hours, received another call - but this time from a private number, possibly same person (no name), and told said caller I already received a call earlier today and told him to F###### and ended call. Caller still redialled several times, I just didn’t answer and they eventually left a voice mail to call back regarding assistance? 1800 708 124. Most like a scam.

Global pandemic, financial melt down, millions out of work and these bottom dwelling scumbags think now is the best time to chase old debt. Companies like this will cause suicides during COVID crisis.

They call my work phone (that I have had for less than 6 months) from a private number and leave a message to call CLH Group 1800 708 124. The guy answered the phone as Lion Finance and wouldn't say how he got the number and asked for a reference number. I told him there was no reference number in the message. He said they can't remove my work number from the system until I tell them my personal number. I refused to divulge my personal number and told him that I would be reporting them to the TIO if they didn't stop hassling me.
Sounds like a phishing expedition to me.

I've now received 5 phone calls to my work from men named Sam and Albert. They call up asking for personal information before they tell me what the debt is. I pay all bills as soon as I get them and have never had a debt in my life. This is a complete scam! They want your personal details for their own data purposes to use for God knows what reasons. Do not trust them!

People that work for Lion Finance/CLH Group are the scum of the earth. How can you sleep at night knowing the hardship you put people through to make big profits. Yes, people should pay thier debts - but when you buy a $10k debt for $500 then continue to charge interest, that's just wrong. You should be ashamed of yourself and your career choice

Most annoying will not provide proof of allesged purchased debt. Call up to 100 tines a week threaten to contact family, threaten to bankrupt me and spouse. Have asked about my children, contacted my work, contacted Facebook friends. Unethical bottom of the barrel company. Riding out my seven years from date if firstbkisting. Yes Lion I won’t pay you a cent, my credit will be clear and I will be living overseas. Your company will still be the cluster F off nasty humans that it is.

Are you serious mate, who do you think you are going on here defending the company you work for, even when people have genuine issues and they do talk to you, you people still ring up and constantly harass, you are nothing but a bunch of low human beings who think the day will not come when something happens that you cannot pay your bills, try being in a situation where you have been with the same business for 20 years plus you come to work one day and the doors are locked and no pay going into your account, then you have people like you ringing up when arrangements had already been made, but still not good enough. Get over yourself.

Here is a fact... You settle the debt for a much smaller amount because of hardship. These buggers will then sell the debt on to capture more $$'s from you by the next one. This practice is widespread and very sneaky and unethical. Best bet is not to enter into any communications with anyone after that settlement. They wont have a leg to stand on.
