Received the same today i.e 4/5/2021. Did check all my bank account and nothing deducted. So Ignored.

received a text message from this number stating that I had just purchased a Canon EOS camera for $2199.99 and if I have a dispute then to call the number. Tried calling it and it is not a registered number.

Received a text message from 0411 943 550 stating "Confirmed: You Paid $2199.99 for Canon E0S R6-HDCamera on 2021-05-04 AMZ#60154120RT5. Customer Support (08) 7200 7080 if dispute......definitely SCAM!!!

Same as above but I rang and realised it was a scam when he asked me my name with his accent. I told him “Getf Ucked” he stopped me when I spelled it for him... lol

Scam about Canon with attached number, claimed to be amazon.

Same as others re Canon E0S R6-HD-Camera which I am supposed to have purchased today - I have not made any such purchase and have tried to call the number but they hand up. SCAM!!

Without having paid any money, I wonder what would happen if we all demanded that our camera/Macbook etc be delivered immediately, else we would report them to Fair Trading. Or a refund to our PayPal account?

Same as all the above, for a camera, called the number from my landline and said I didn't buy this and was asked for the order number. After I gave it to them they said they will check it then the phone went dead while I was on hold. I was not sure at 1st as I have bought a number of things online recently but I knew I had not bought a camera and wanted to see where this was going.

same scammer here. My SMS was from 0422 413 696. Also the Canon camera!
