I got the same message: You paid $2199.99 for "Canon EOS R6-HD Camera. Call Us (08) 7200 7080 If any dispute, Thank you.
I searched on Google and found this website and everyone's posts about this number. Thank you guys for posting these messages, helped me from from being scammed.

Caller: Scammers

I received a text message from 0466 903 842 (could be a random mobile number) stating the following: "Confirmed: You Paid $2199.99 for Canon EOS R6-HD-Camera on 2021-05-03, AMZ#70154120VD3. Help-line (08) 7200 7080 For dispute. Luckily, I checked the internet. Thank you all who put comments here. I suspect it is one of the scams that I have already read about. Please do not call them or open any links if provided in that message.

got the same text message for a camera purchase, the number it came from was 0432 339 540

This number was in a sms stating I had to call this number if the EOS camera purchase was to be disputed.
Looks like a scam to me.

I have a text with exactly the same message as you rec'd

Same here, got SMS from 0422 144 953 saying:
"Confirmed: you paid $2199.99 for Canon EOS R6-HD-Camera on 2O21-O5-O4, AMZ#70154120VD5, Help-line (08) 7200 7080 For dispute."

Note those stupid and doggy guys wrote down "0" as "O" in the date.

Same, glad it was scam... my husband nearly got in trouble as I thought it was a mothers day gift :D

Received the exact same txt msg today. Blocked the number

Caller: Text was from 0401 074 396

Said I paid $2199.99 for Canon EoS R6-HD-Camera w an AMZ# Helpline (08) 7200 7080 For dispute ... the "For dispute" should be a big giveaway

received a text message from this number stating that I had just purchased a Canon EOS camera for $2199.99 and if I have a dispute then to call the number.

Apparently I purchased one of these Canon cameras off AMZ as have many other people on here lol.

Caller: Anonymous on 0401 321 178 masquerading as Amazon I later discovered.

SCAM!

I received a message saying that I had ordered a Canon Camera for $2199.99 and to call the Amazon help line on (08) 7200 7080.

I called and was dealing with a very pushy person from ‘Amazon’ who led me through my account and encouraged me to allow access to change my password over the phone. He tried to pressure me into providing him with the middle 8 digits of my credit card to confirm my identity. When I refused, he became aggressive and urgent. This was my indicator to hang up.

He then attempted to call me back.

I googled the ‘Amazon number’ and there are many warnings linked to it.

I’ve gone into my account and removed my card details.

They’ve again gone into my account and changed the password.
