The caller reminded me that I am eligible for the fourth COVID vaccine shot. This was not a scam call

So many idiots on here saying it's a scam. All you dimwits probably didn't get vaccinated either. Australia would be better of without you, please leave.

Oh by the way, it's not a scam. My wife works for the Department of Health.

Call received from (03) 8624 4061, unable to communicate properly with the person on the end of the phone, she did say she was from the Department of Health Vic, when I called back the recording said "the Victorian Department of Health has tried to contact you, we will endeavor to contact you again."
Make up your own mind on this one

This is a legitimate number and a call. They have sent a text asking to prepare for a call from the DH. I missed it anyway thus the call. I called back and it was confirmed (answering machine) that it was in fact a number belong to the Department of Health.

Received call and was asked to confirm my name and DOB. I do not have a child and hung up.

got text message and after a call from this number for asking if my child had the second dose of vax. I told them I had booked a time for it but they still insist and ask if then can help me to book an appointment. At the end of the call, they send me a text message with a link for the survey. I trusted and open up the link but it's not available web page with DHHS sign. I believe it is a scam and don't give any of personal info.

What a shame that whose people can get our private information, for example, my child's name and where/when the first dose done. This is awful! Who sold our private info to these scamer!

on 11/3/22 - 3x SMS on 11 year old's phone saying "Hi, please be prepared to receive a call from the Department of Health on (03) 8624 4051 regarding your child's second COVID-19 vaccination". Last SMS at 7:22pm.

Followed by 3 missed call notifications "You missed a call from (03) 8624 4051... no message was left".

Caller has ID of DH-COVID19.

Phone did not ring & have not called back as my children have had all their Covid doses. Also, Australian Vic & Fed govt advice is that government departments do NOT cold call people and you should provide no personal info at all to anyone who calls claiming they're from those organisations.

Scam, do not call back to confirm. Since they called via a software could pretend to be any number

My wife and I both got missed calls from this number at the same time but left no voicemail. I suspect it may be genuine from DHHS but that it is being spoofed by phishing scammers as well.

Missed the call and received a text message saying “Hi, please be prepared to receive a call shortly from the Department of Health on (03) 8624 4051 regarding your COVID-19 vaccination”; called back but didn’t get through as the answer machine said they would contact me again. Very suspicious. This happened the day after my booster jab.

How would a random know you were at a tier 1 exposure site? Clearly it is the DHHS. Racist

It's legit. Sounded sketch at the beginning sure, but I rolled with it and booked my booster. Got an email from Department of Health shortly after, and checked my profile on the CVMS portal and the booking was there too.
