Is Saturday 2 PM and they (03) 8644 8152 call me every 30 minutes and they stay long time ringing as if I did not heard them ringing. Are they desperate or something? They pay some Phone Company to get an Australian phone number when they do not even live in Australia. Is not my problem if they have 14 Indians in their family to feed, they should stop F**K their daughters. What the F**K is wrong with them? Why can't those losers call ISIS behead them or crucify those Indians Telemarketers? There are 1.3 Billion Indians in the country of India, so they should go there to have some fun Beheading the Indian Telemarketers.

I have set my land line to go immediately to message, with my recorded message being "Because of nuisance calls, I am not picking up but will contact you soon if you leave a message."

They're a mob of w*nkers. I'm on DNC register and have a silent number, yet these jerks have been calling on and off for months in spite of being repeatedly warned they're breaking the law. Last time I warned them I'll take it further then SLAMMED the phone down. Hope it hurt their ear

These pests use a range of numbers, all with 03 prefix. As my sister lives in Melbourne, I made the mistake of picking up a couple of times before I twigged. This is nothing short of harassment - yesterday I received 6 calls from numbers with an 03 prefix. Of course I didn't pick up, but why should I modify my behaviour in my own home to avoid harassment by credit card scamming crooks? Why haven't the police dealt with them - isn't this use of a carriage service provider to harass people?

They have been calling me for about a month, 6+ times a day. I have 2 bubs here that sleep during the day and the phone is constantly ringing. I called Optus (who my line is connected with) and they are blocking the number from my phone. These people often call from a private number too so I have also registered on the do not call register but I think I'll go crazy is the 30 days that takes to kick in, and I don't think these people would care!!!

8644 8152 could just be a caller ID display number, these doggy people could be using some software calling from overseas, but able to create an impression that the call is from 86448152: So annoying just like a virus in the email!

As soon as I hooked my home phone to the nbn through telstra today I got 4 calls from these people. The first one I answered - they gave me a huge speel and I could not talk. I asked if they were Telstra (they never identified themselves) and they avoided the question saying they were part of the Telstra infrastructure but not giving a definate yes. In the end they said they weren't and I told them I was not interested. Then I get 3 calls throughout the day on my message bank (no message just that number). How come as soon as I hook up with the NBN through telstra they start calling?

Yes can confirm same issue as everyone else. New home, new line, new Tesltra account and somehow the scammers obtained my details and have called 15 times a day from 03 8644 xxxx for past week or so. I am not listed anywhere. Visit this page to get number blocked [1]. Also visit DNC register [2] and submit your numbers. Tesltra will block these subcontinental pricks for free and hopefully, eventually they can shut these bastards down. Unfortunately we have to call [1] each time you want the varied number they use also blocked. A small inconvenience not to get calls from this scum however. Lastly, why spend money unnecessarily on blocking products or services when a call to Telstra is all you need? Good luck all.

As many have said it is a scam. They are after your credit card details. If you call telstra and talk to the investigations team they can actually block this number from calling you.

They have rung me about 6 times today, when I pick up the call they hang up. Its some call centre obviously, probably trying to sell phone contracts. There should be some law that stops people doing this if you ask for it to stop, what right do they have to pester everyone. We are a medical practice. Its very annoying. The number is (03) 8644 8152

Ken Oath...If these calls do not bother you then why have you taken the time to look this number up on the web and post a comment like that!! Anyone getting these calls just ring 1300 792 958 which is the National Do Not Call Register and you can have your phone number blocked from all telephone marketers. you must ring from the telephone number that you want to have blocked.
