Last week I was receiving between 10-20 calls per day, they say they are calling from Telstra and my calls will be cheaper..as I'm a Telstra customer..I am not a Telstra customer and they argue that I am. I have told them not to call me again but 10 minutes later some one else from the Indian call centre call back. Today they started at 3pm so I blew a whistle as loudly as I could, they have now called twice more the last one the women just laughed at said ok make the sound..

I get at least 10 calls from this number every day and if I answer there is no noise, not even background noise. If I try to reject the call without answering, it immediately calls back (within 2 seconds) so I literally cannot reject the call. I'm not sure if it's the same place that I've been getting calls from on a blocked number (Also up to 10 calls a day). They haven't answered the phone once, even if I stay on the line for 10 seconds. No matter how many times I answer then hang up immediately, it still calls multiple times a day. If I ignore the call it leaves a 101 message which is just silence for a few seconds then ends.

100 calls in the past week. Not happy Jan. They gave me a dodgy number to call their supervisor which was not them. I will be calling Spamwatch. Thanks for the help guys.

Have called re new phone plan about 40-50 times in the last 3 days. Yelling and abusing does nothing to stop them, they are like a really bad rash that just won't go away. Fed up with them.

Every few days these pricks call me. I do not have caller ID (extra cost) so cannot block the number. Every half hour they call for a period of 3-4 hours on a given day, then I get a days break then it starts again. Telling me that my phone bill is between $80- and $100 and that starting next month it will reduce to around $50. They get confused when I tell them that my bill is under $50 already and to F*ck off and stop calling me. They hang up immediately. I've started having fun with them and when they tell me that now I just go "really that reminds me of when I was down the shops the other day and I though such and such was gonna cost this much but it was only this much." I usually get a "excuse me". Then I just say "well if you're going to waste my time I'm gonna waste yours" and they hang up. :)

I have been receiving numerous phone calls from this number and some just as I get to sleep. I called telstra and they blocked the number for me and told me to call 1300 792 958 to stop these types of scamming nuisance calls.

I have received about 20 calls over a 2 day period regarding this discounted phone offer. My caller ID registered PRIVATE to beggin with. I assumed they were scammers calling from Overseas so when talking to Telstra it was agreed to put a block on calls made to my phone from overseas callers. I have no relatives or friends there. All went quiet for a day. Then it all started again today. Only this time the number appeared on my ID screen. I don't believe this to be a genuine number as they would probably have been raided, by now, by Govt Agencies ...out to shut them down. One more call tomorrow will see me change my number and have it listed as PRIVATE (silent number) The do not call register is only for "honest" people and wont work on these low lifes.

I had a few calls from these guys a bout tuesday .. i told them to pee off and leave me alone ,, now since then they ring non stop every 10 to 15 min , and hang up as soon as they get connected , i really want one of them to talk so i can be even more clear to them about their scam..

Tell them you are recording the conversation for litigation purposes. This stop the calls dead with no repeat contact

I have had these people calling me solidly since Tuesday. They wanted my date of birth, medicare number, license. I gave my date of birth unfortunately and they knew my address. Luckily when they wanted my medicare number and license, i got wise that it was a scam. Now they call every 15 mins from around 1PM. One guy gave me a name, William and an ID number 002 735. They said they were from One Dial.

I have had approx. 45 calls in the last 3 days from this phone number. After telling them over and over again that I wasn't interested they continued to call and harass me, claiming that they owned my landline. Ended up in a shouting match, found out his name is Chris Lyn with ID no. CL78600 from Homesavers. Don't give these people any information!!

Had a problem with this number persistantly ringing me about my phone plan yesterday (about 18 calls)..Indian Call Centre both male and females saying that my call costs would be reduced.. They could not tell me who they were calling on behalf of and everytime I asked them a question they would hang up and someone different would call again. I asked them to stop calling me and then the frequency and time between calls increased. I threatened to report them to ACCC but that was not a deterrent. In the end 8.15pm I had to take my phone off the hook.

Have been getting calls from this number today. MANY calls. When I did speak with someone, they knew my name, address and wanted to give a discount on my home phone. They wanted to confirm my D.O.B. wouldn't give that information. When I asked where they were calling from they were hesitant. I told them I would ring my phone service provider myself. They hung up but are calling.

yes sounds exactly the same. Went through the whole speel about getting discounted Telstra bundle even gave me an ID #, when I questioned why they wanted me to confirm MY ID by means of license & medicare card she put me through to her "supervisor" who also gave me an his ID #..
I had need to call the real Telstra on Friday & asked if they had a record of who called me & I gave them the "ID" # i was given. Telstra had no record of the call & had no "offer" Also Telstra employees have a letter at the start of their ID #'s...

17 calls over 2 hour period on 18 Feb 15. Had indian accent also knew my name. Suspect same as caller today saying they were from Telstra
