Been receiving calls from FIGO Telecom Australia 1300 731 201). Callers sound Indian. Offering substantial discounts to all private (non-business )Telstra subscribers in Cleveland, QLD, provided they're Australian citizens aged 18 to 75. Sound familiar ?

I have just started getting calls from this number in the last 2 days. They claim they are going to discount my phone every month by $50.00 but they want to talk to my nan who is elderly. As they couldn't get past me the lady became frustrated hung up on me then rang back and as soon as I answered she hung up

I received 13 calls over 2 hours yesterday afternoon. In the end I took the phone off the hook, but then that stops legitiamte cal scoming in. I've now registed with the Do Not Call system but that takes 30 days to kick in. :-(

I've been called by these guys twice. They say they are associated with Telstra and offer huge discounts because of faults and complaints in the area. They are just trying to get personal information eg medicare numbers, first name, drivers licence details from you. The second time they rang (after I worked out from the first call that they did not know my name... they asked me to spell it), I asked bluntly did the caller know my first name. He got abusive after that. I hung up on him. Not pleasant at all.

I thought it was all legitimate, until he wanted me to give him my licence or medicare number to prove I was "local" & not a business, therefore making me ineligible for the discount. Naturally the alarm bells when on & I told him I would rather go into a Telstra store to confirm. After I hung up, they have rung at least 8 times. My only amusement is, my phone now announces their number as SCAM ! 😊

They call consistently. At least once an hour, all day every day!
I have answered previously and they do not get the hint you are not interested.

I had the same problem with this number, I registered for the do not call register and contacted the ACCC and Tio. Apparently it's not Telstra at all but some company's will do anything to get peoples information and to sign them up. I had an issue a few months back will my number was private with the tech support ones. So annoying.

Just had 4 calls in 2 hours. Told them politely I'm not interested. Then very impolite with my response.
Have a whistle next to the phone now. If they call again. Someone is going deaf!
This has worked very well on other companies

I answered their first call, they quoted they were from the Siebel team at Telstra (which is a legitimate thing...) and so I stayed on the line. They kept asking me to confirm my details, yet they rang me, and were quoting my details. They tried to tell me they would be saving me money on my bill by putting me on a $79.95/mth line rental, and unlimited internet (ADSL2) for a total of around ~$139/mth, yet I am on a bundle package around the same price including Telstra. I told them I'd think about it and call Telstra back directly, and they hung up on me.

Afterwards, I received 26 calls from them that afternoon, and I have another 10+ calls in the few days since.

f*cking scumbags.

Have been receiving calls from this number numerous times through out the day, For the last few days! Asked to speak to a supervisor/ manager and was told to just go die!

I've had a total of 8 calls today from supposedly someone connected to Telstra. When I refused to give them my plan details after a few minutes of them talking at me and insisted on being told why they are calling me they said they'd find out and let me know and they hung up on me.

Very persistent and annoying, has called my home number more than 10 times in less than 2 hours. I cant even concentrate on my studies as the phone keeps ringing. mchew

I have also received 10 calls from this nuisance number. But when you can call back no response. Very very annoying. These people have no shame in harassing others.

Answer to problem Rang Telstra regarding the problem and they blocked incoming international, as I have no one who rings from overseas not a problem.I haven't received a call in months
I had the same problem 13 calls a day asking for a flatmate claimed to represent Telstra (turned out he was filling in online servery that he was paid for), however my phone dose not have caller display unsure of numbers

Have had 4 calls today and 2 missed calls from this number #(03) 8644 8152. Woke my baby twice! Have told them not to call again but keep calling. It is harrassment. Have already made a complaint to telstra to block the number but this must be a new one. Have now commented on their facebook page. Doubt anything will be done. This mob have obviously paid for our information. Information Telstra expect US to pay them NOT to give out. It's a class action waiting to happen.

Today alone (not the first time it's happened!) we've had 10 phone calls from this number! And it's only 1:30pm!!

Twice I've asked them (call 9 and 10) to stop calling us and take us off their call list. After call 8 I phoned their number and left a message asking them to stop calling us. Anyone know where you can report them???
