Just got a call from this number again today Monday and got yelled at for not listening,Friday they rang 5 times each time a different person,calling on by half of Telstra. When asked to be taken off the list they said no not until I argee to there terms and conditions.

I am also getting calls from this number 2-3 times a day .
Annoying telemarketer and also rude, I agree with other since they are using Telstra's Name and Telstra should take some responsibility and stop misusing their name.

Have received a numnber of calls from this number. When I ask for a name and what company they work they try to diflect but I persist and ask again so they hang up. I'm on the no calls list too!

does anyone have clue to who these people are? Given a positive id, even in counties with little control over scams, surely it would be no big thing to target and 'sanitize' some of the main perps? All it would need is the will to do it $$$$ and a good team. Setting it up would be a bit problematic but with the right peeps and good shooters hey?

I do not answer numbers l'm not familiar with since have had several calls from many different numbers and they don't leave a message .
No message no call back they Should be fined for harassing people .

I am receiving them too but now have the numbers listed in my phone book as scams, therefore with caller id, I no longer answer them. Just let it ring out and hopefully they will tire of it.
There are a couple of different numbers so I will just do the same for all of them once discovered that they are these type of calls.

I just had a call now. Have these calls all the time. Before we continued with his spiel, I asked him for his name and number and company name. Once he gave me all the false details and he didn't have a chance to say anything else, I just told him I'm not interested. He called me a smart arse and hung up. Frustrated, but I'll keep playing there game.

They have rung me about 4 times a day for the past 2 weeks. I finally answered and told them that i was not interested. Apparently not a good answer. They guy called Matt (indian name....haha) kept asking me the same questions over and over, until i finally lost it on the phone told him his customer service was abysmal and at that rate he would never sell anything to anyone. Lol. He finally got sick of my rant and hung up. Hopefully they stop calling now. Felt good though.

Received several calls today from (03) 8644 8152 - can barely hear them. will just answer next time and keep the call open to stuff up their call times

they called me 9 times over 2 days of which 6 were all one day - starts out with the Telstra customer and line changes... I also have another two numbers that have the exact same spiel.....both also with many calls in one day

*sigh* same here, they'll call ca. 5-12 times a day - including weekends, about every half-hour and sprout the same nonsense everyone else has written about. I've tried reasoning with them while being entirely polite but they just hang-up and a different person calls back half an hour later.

Apparently blowing a whistle in the microphone in an attempt to deter them is illegal so don't try it cause while you don't know their real number/address they do and they may very well sue you :D

They calked about 10 times this morning so I thought I'd play "nice cop". They started in about my Telstra line....I first asked them if they were from Telstra and she kept ignoring so I kept asking to annoy her....eventually she said she is trying to help he and hung up....not from Telstra quite obviously !

They called me 6 times in 10 minutes because I hung up on them the first time and called me a moron so I told him off as well. He said that he was going to keep calling me. Called my provider and they blocked this number. I am also going to report them to the telecommunications ombudsman.

Yep, they started calling my shop a few days ago. "Mike Walker" and "Allen Jones or..something" hahaha..with freaky Indian accents but "mate" after every second word. They make sooo believable..:-) When I hear a pause (silence) or an Indian accent I just hang up straight away. But the problem is - when I do not know who's calling, I need to stop doing what I am doing, walk to the phone, find out who's calling..hang up..walk back and start working again - it's a waste of time, so annoying. Now I at least saved their number and changed ringing tone for that number so that I do not have to bother walking to the phone. Wish I could simply block them.

This number (03) 8644 8152 has called my landline at home more than 5 times, only way to deal with not picking up the call,but must say it is quite annoying.

This number called me 30 times for the last 3 days (almost one every 30 minutes today). I am working as an interpreter over the phone so I cant ignore calls from the land line cos' they could be calls from my assignments. I told them politely that we are not interested in anything from Telstra because those nuisance Indian speaking Peter, Steve or Bill ect. kept telling me every time that they called on behalf of Telstra. I got very upset, go to Hell these scammers. Leave us alone, please find something decent to do rather than annoying us.

They have given up speaking to us and now when that number calls, there is nothing on the other end. Have just arranged with service provider to have this number blocked.

this sh*t is staring to get out of hand ,I am on the non call register but that does F all , so call the Radio/TV stations and get this problem into the day light , I will contact 6PR here in Perth and /channel7 to get an idea how pissed off people can get , oh and it wont hurt to let the communications minister know, call or email as many times as you are called by this number if we all do it some one might tack action to block these knob heads

I have these people calling at work, trying to tell me we now have cheaper calls. The easiest way to deal with them is to just hang up on them.
