People like me don't have mobile phones, sick to F'n death of them. People think they are like breathing - YOU DO NOT NEED A MOBILE TO STAY ALIVE!!

Lol. Most of the time I do not answer my land line. If I do and I say hello and the person does not answer me immediately, I hang up. Seriously people, they are mostly ringing land lines. Just don't answer them. Most of you have mobiles. If it's someone you know, they will have your mobile number and ring that instead. If they are ringing your mobile you can see the number and just reject the call. It's not rocket science.

They do not stop, over and over! How do we make them stop?

Constant calls, creepy nasty invasive, intrusive, annoying calls, phone never stops ringing. You scum bags should get a real life and real JOBS. Criminals bloody criminals. Shame on you. Sure your parents are very disappointed to see what you do for a living.

These a holes rang my fiance and asked for his drivers licence number, said they represented TELSTRA and could offer him a better phone plan to save 50%. THey then asked him for his medicare number and luckily I was around and I work for TELSTRA, told him Telstra would never EVER ask for a medicare number over the phone, I knew this was dodgy and told him to hang up. THey rang on (03) 8644 8152 and also another similar number daily starting with "03 8644. DO NOT give them personal information. THis is a fraudulent firm and they will try to get your personal identification details which they can sell and forward to organized crime gangs worldwide. They call themselves ONEDIAL ? they claim to be situated at 30 ALbert St Melbourne with a phoney postcode of 3030 which is not for Melbourne. BEWARE, they are scammers and scumbags. If you read this email you SCUMBAG that calls people, you should be ashamed of yourself for committing fraud, GET A DECENT PAYING JOB like the rest of us !!! I'm sure your parents did not bring you up to be criminals scamming poor people and using personal details. SHAME ON YOU.

These scumbags called numerous times a day. Read from another similar thread elsewhere that they are from a company called Sleektel 1300 731 606. Called them up to get my number off their call register and gave them a piece of my mind. Hoping for the calls to stop.

Getting multiple calls. 7 pm just got 5 calls from them. Arghhhhhhh

I have the same problem. These people have called me 5 times in the last 2 hours. I called Telstra, they cannot block the number. They did provide me with the number for the, "Do not call register." It is 1300 792 958. You need to call from your home phone number, it will take 30 days to block all telemarketers etc
Let's hope this stops works.

Same thing, keep calling saying they are wanting to save me money blah blah, when asked if they were from Telstra they change the subject. And they ring at least 5-6 times a day.

call Telstra Complaints 13 22 00 and say Complaints they will then connect Unwelcome Calls Division and they will block the call for free and you will never receive a call from (03) 8644 8152

It takes 12-24 hours to complete the blocking service

You will here a long flat tone on your home phone indicating that the service has been blocked however your phone will still work normally

how do we get these people to stop...they don't even know what they are talking about

Have had 6 calls today!
When they asked how much I pay for my Telstra bill I told them none of their business ... they hung up. But phoned again & again.
