Just had a call from that number. We have a Gaurdian Phone from Telstra, it didn't get through as they couldn't follow simple instructions to register the call. So I gather that it was a scam. Let's face it if any one from any company asks for your details, there is some wrong.

Rang my personal mobile and said they were from Telstra. Wanted to confirm that I was the account holder. I asked her to tell me who the name of the account holder was and she said she couldn't tell me. I got frustrated with her as she has rung me and then expects me to give my details to her. I said it was stupid to think that I would talk to a stranger on the phone. I hung up.

Perhaps we should all tell Telstra we will no longer accept calls from o/seas we want jobs in Australia. Ridiculous that we are training people from overseas in Australia to take our jobs. Go figure

Got a call from (02) 8291 1000 saying they are from Telstra and want to give more internet data to my home phone.
They asked for my Full Name, Address and Birth date.
My reply was :you rang me , you should have all of that".
I asked them for their full details. Silence on the phone.
Once she said they will give more data, I then asked to which phone number are they going to give it too?
They rang my work mobile that is not connected in any way to my home number.
rang their number and it is not in service or connected.
GO FIGURE!!!

Said they were ringing on BEHALF of Telstra (not necessarily Telstra). Straight up asked for confirmation of details. Refused to give any. Told them I've no idea who you are.

Telstra calling me but hey, they've got the wrong number! Telstra and the banks both rooted. Who makes their decisions. We are winning the race to the bottom.

Having trouble with my NBN. It was Telstra calling me back advising I needed to book a field visit. But I didn't answer the three calls in a row. They left a message to call 1800# and I was in que for 20mins.

Telstra ringing me regarding my NBN issues and the service repair. Yes NBN is working perfectly and happy to have them call me and check on the service.

I tend not to answer 'scam' numbers, so ignored the 02 prefix. Now realise it was Telstra ringing about my billing anomalies.

Unfortunately had to give my Optus mobile number while disconnecting Telstra landline for one of my clients. Disconnection actioned but now Telstra do not stop calling me. When you haven't answered over a dozen calls from the same number, surely they must get the message we do not want to speak with them.

Telstra head office (Philippines). If you think that the Head Office staff, get paid f**k all, you should wonder, what the ground crew, here in Australia, are getting paid!! With Telsra floundering, to keep up with communication problems here in Australia, we are primed for a terrorist attack. get your NERF guns ready, and stock up on ammo, Australia!!!
