Just received a call from this number, they hung up as soon as I answered, but I am thinking that even though the number is iinet, as per the previous comments, I get the feeling the number may have been "hijacked" as I am customer of innet & never had an issue before.

I'm with iInet and my internet keeps dropping out. I have to call them every few weeks to get them to fix it, last night I made the usual call to a Filipino worker in Manilla with broken English to report dropouts. Today I got a useless follow up call and now I'm getting silent calls from this number. This company has become garbage since outsourcing their customer care.

I am an Iinet customer. This number called me daily for over a month. When I finally answered they tried to sign me up to upgrading my internet and offer me mobile phone plans. I asked to be contacted after 5 while I was not at work, they called me back 2 hours later at 3pm. Nuisance calls like this and the constant pestering has made me reconsider staying with Iinet

These people are supposed to be iinet but when I answer I either get a call tone because it's being redirected or it hangs up at this point I'm blocking because they are just time wasters.

Missed their call, so called back. Got answering machine from iiNet. I believe it is genuine. But since I have no outstanding complaint with them (other than that I will leave them now that they no longer do email addresses) it must have been a sales call to promote their freestanding NBN dongle thingy. Not appreciated as it was a call in the middle of the day, when people are being paid to do their job, not hang on the phone listening to sales calls.

They call me 2-4 times a day every day!! If I answer they don’t speak. If I call them back I get an automated message saying they’re iiNet but I feel like it’s a scam? Others are saying it’s real so fair enough but either way they need to leave me the hell alone.

This number called but did not leave a message. Maybe it was iinet but they didnt ask me to call back, so I wont call back .

When I answer, it says iinet. Called the real Iinet and they said this isn't a registered number and to block them. That number isn't the real iinet.

I didn't answer. I don't answer numbers I don't know. I haven't logged a complaint with iinet/Western. Though I do have one. I still receive email through them but I can't send emails.

I had logged a service call with Westnet about their discontinuing hosting email. In their own online form, I specifically said reply by email. Instead they phoned me twice on this number after 9:00pm at night and i didn't answer. I got emails from them at the same, so i know it was them, not fixing the problem, just saying that couldn't reach me on the phone. So I presume a genuine call, but useless customer service.

Wow, no matter how many times I have been reassured that my number has been removed from their to call marketing list they still persist, must be paid by commission. They also must be a bit slow, I never answer to that number yet they still persisit in calling and not once will they leave a message which indicates cold calling from computer first.

Caller told me that my call had to be recorded but when I said I did not agree, they hung up. I do not believe this was iiNet/Internode as the caller stated. Not legit.

This number has called me at least once a fortnight for the past 3 months. Always from "iiNet" asking for "Nancy" - to which I reply "this is the wrong number" every time. I'm unsure if this is a scam or genuine, but if genuine you'd think they'd get the message by now and delete this contact number - especially considering it is the same woman calling every time!!!

I also answered an unsolicited call from (08) 6263 6363. The first thing the caller wanted to know was my name and then my surname. They said they were from iinet, so wouldn't they already have this information? I decided to hang up fast.

Caller: Above number (08) 6263 6363 called my Optus mobile today 17 October 2022. Didn't answer because I didn't recognise the number.

No message left. When I googled this number and read the comments above relating to unsolicited calls from them, I blocked them.
