Caller: They say Telstra!

The caller purports to be from Telstra, but cannot provide a related phone number. Only a unrecognised account number. Telstra support state that I do not have any outstanding debt. This is a Telstra support company scam, trying it on.

I blasted Telstra about this to the point I was put through to some female schmuck in the Phillipines. I have PTSD so it didn’t take long for her to hang up on me.. In essence they asked if I wanted to extend paying my bill (which was incorrect anyway) in one days time or a week or even26 days... pretty much spok to a human and said I’m contesting the bill please look up the details of the direct debit I have in place with your retarded company.... couldn’t sleek to he supervisor and all she could do was accept a credit card payment.... any as I said the conversation ended pretty quick after that . Another kind story on the my Telstra App but in short I managed to message with a human who said the Direct debit was in place and not to give the automated calls any personal details.... So Telstra... get your sh*t in one sock

If it’s Telstra our bill payment are on Automatic, normally they send a text message with concerns etc.

Really? Legit? How many people would look up this number on here just to say it's legit ... I think everyone saying it's legit is part of the scam. Best case scenario it's just telemarketers harvesting phone numbers.

Called them back and it said a message from Telstra. Press 1, then they said important message for (blah blah which was me), press 1. When I pressed 1 again the call disconnected. I tried about four times, same result.

Not a scam. If you press 1 to confirm your name it will tell you how much is owing on your overdue bill.

Totally legit, you can't get a call from this if you do not have a Telstra account. The automated service checks your DOB and details before asking for overdue payment.

They’ve been spam calling me within exactly 2 and a half to 3 hours using no caller ID. Apparently to my phone it says they are located in NSW Sydney. This is has to be account hackers considering their format and unprofessional behaviour. I’ve had missed bills and also have had noticed account hackers. This isn’t the way telstra behaves. With out a doubt a scam

I was on a text chat with Telstra this morning to protest a bill received long after I had cancelled my account. It was all sorted and I get this damn number calling me. I don't want to speak to anyone from Telstra and they have no right to contact me.I did not answer. I assume it is a nuisance call.

Missed call no message left, received text message saying it was telstra and I had an overdue bill of $263. Had a link in it to pay by credit card. I have been with optus since 2010. My new number has only been active for 1 day.
Deleted and blocked the number.

Got a call from this number answered got a automated message claiming to be Telstra and asked me to enter my details f*ck no what a scam if they want to contact me they can contact me through the proper channels
