I think it’s broken. They called relentlessly all day but I answered the first one and knew I didn’t have time because of work, so when I finally humoured them in the afternoon and let it play through, I followed the prompts to a credit card payment for $0.00

This went on for a couple of days, I called, sat on hold for probably a total of an hour or more over multiple attempts to speak to someone with no results. So I’ve just started checking the numbers on here and periodically blocking them. They will surely run out of ports to call off eventually right? Haha.

They constantly tell people in our town that there is no free ports for new connections! Maybe they could give up 1 or 1000 from this stupid “robot” call...

this is actually a genuine Telstra number

Got a recorded call on my mobile phone from this number saying it was advice about a possible service disruption. Said the call was for "XX" and a different voice then said my name. How did they know my name if it's not Telstra? It wanted me to "press 1" for more information. I hesitated for about 5 seconds and the call disconnected.

Called my work mobile didn't leave a message and called again mentioning overdue bill. My work phone is managed within a corporate account - massive scam

I pay my bills by auto debit to credit card. I checked. payments are up to date. It's a scam.

not leaving a message and no success ringing number back. Too many scammers and figure if important will ring back and /or leave a message

This can’t be Telstra reminding me to pay a late bill because my parents pay my bill lol, scam fam

i can assure you its a scam. i have just got off the phone from Telstra + had it confirmed. scammers are after personal information + confirming that the account holder is correct + then supplying a date of birth is helping out with pieces of the puzzle. hang up.

I don't have an issue with people chasing an amount due, but if it's genuine why can't the caller leave a voice message? Just plain manners unless it's a scam 😂
