Said they were from ebay and were checking authorisation of payment which will be debited unless I press a number to talk to someone. Certainly looks and feels like a scam

Called me trying to persuade me that a purchase had been made and that they could cancel it, all I had to do was install a remote desktop access app.
Hung up very quickly after that!

Caller: fake ebay

Got a call from Wagga Wagga saying they have cancelled my eBay order - press 2 to claim a refund etc. They hung up when I was discussing with my friend if we were going to claim a refund on the phone. Terrible scammer who can't even finish the whole conversation.

Absolute scammer 100% comes up from Wagga
Stated my account will be debited $99 for amazon prime account--one, I don't have an amazon prime account and two, if I did its only $6.99 a month. Went along with it and was asked to pay and download 'Any Desk'--called him out on it and he hung up on me. Unable to call back.
