Just got call from 0438 057 233. When answered, person hung up for which obviously to know if anyone on number. Via reports this website, caller was ''Scam" so reporting number to their phone carrier as person/s of this number committing criminal scams, also referring this website link of number as proof. To Police, too reporting this number committing criminal scam activities with referral to this website info.

Received a call from this number twice on the same day. First call there was no-one on the other end, second call was someone calling from "Insurance Line" talking about Funeral Insurance. When I informed the man that I was not interested and did not want to pass on my details, I was asked if I had ever considered Life insurance. I said "Yes" and as soon as I had said that, the person on the other end hung up.

Had a call from this number call went through to message bank when I replayed message you could tell it was a call centre by the noise in the background but no message left. Blocked number now after reading other complaints.

Called me up, first telemarketing call I have received in over 8 years of this number.

When asking where they got my number from, it was the usual; you signed up to a competition, but couldn't say exactly.

They said they purchased there list from Listbanker, ImpactLists and Prospectshop

Yeah same thing I've received 2 calls first time didn't answer and called back and got the automated msg of 'this is a financial institution' got the second call just minutes ago and didnt answer.

Wankers called me today telling me they're from the insurance line and that the conversation would be recorded for training purposes. I told them I don't think they should be calling mobile phone numbers and that they shouldn't be poaching me. She instantly hung up. Rude Bitch.

Cold call marketers "Australian Contact Centre". At least the person calling, who did not identify himself by name, had the decency to hang up when I stated I had no interest in the products he was hawking.

I received a call from this number on 19/1/2015 at 5:25 pm. There was a female said that call from some insurence company and she got number from "list Broker". She refuse to give that so called list broker name. I have never applied or deal with insurence recently.

Received a phone call from this number this morning - apparently it was from a call center connected with insurance line, specifically asking about funeral insurance and income insurance. I have no idea how they got my mobile number to call and the guy seemed surprised when I said I had no interest in the products he was trying to sell.

Also received a call from this number and hung up when answered. Thank god for on phone call blocking :)

I just received a second call from the 0438 057 233, the first time I missed the call and like everyone else, I returned the call and a message stated "This is the Australian contact centre we will contact you back shortly have a nice day".
This time I answered and I heard the guy on the other end ordering drinks at what sounded like a pub before he realised I had answered.... So yeah, Dodgy

Received a missed call from this number on Wed 14th Jan, and again today Fri 16th Jan. Same issue as everyone else has listed - when I called back the automated message started and I just hung up.
