I have received several calls from this number and when i call back it says the mail box is full and you are
unable to ever leave a message, this is most definitely a scam.. I have now blocked them on my phone.

Telemarketer for 'Insuranceline Life Insurance' I told the lady I wasn't interested, she then said she will follow up in the next few weeks ... Eh, I said I wasn't interested, what part of that did you not understand?

These arseholes call and then hang up. They are the Australian Contact Centre. Pack of annoying pricks.

I too had a cll from this number very annoying. I pick up and they hang up. When I rang back they said they were the Sustralian Contact Centre for financial institutions. I thi k they like tlemarketeters a bit sus by reading everyone comments on this website

Just had a call from this number 0438 057 233. They rang the other day & I didnt answer it cause I didnt know the number. Today I did & it sounded like a call centre in the background then they hung up on me. My husband got a call from them yesterday telling him about funeral insurance. Why do they hassle so many people & call us but hang up on you as well?? Very frustrating.

Is there any way to stop these guys from calling people? They try to get your details pretending they are just a call center for some insurance company.

Called me yesterday at 4pm then today again at f*cking 8:30pm as well as a few days ago during the day.

Female telemarketer says not selling but wasting time by talking about 3 insurance products, funeral, income & life. When I replied politely that I'm not interested and have insurance cover several times, she rudely & persistently asked 'do you have all three, do you have --- cover, then you don't have --- cover', I replied it wasn't any of her concern and I've already told her I'm not interested then she hung up. Don't bother answering this number! Rude and pushy.

You can block calls to mobiles easily if you want - iPhones and Androids offer the options - just go to the number and find the menu option to block or reject..

Same crap with me

I received a call from a similar company (maybe same) as she said she wasn't selling me anything, someone would call me back several months ago on my old mobile. Now I have a new one, and they called it the past two days. Since I am American I told them I am not a resident or citizen and don't qualify. They remove me from their list. I didn't answer this time, but I will and just tell them, I can't have it and to remove me.

Yeah this guy is rude prick. Said his name was Bonnie which I thought was suss as it is a girls name, and I will be recorded and asked if I saw some ad and I said no and not interested. Told me I just wasted his time and hung up lol

Had this number call me today. Douchebag telemarketing it seems. Sounds very dodgy and I'd advise everyone to never give details to these people. In fact it should be reported to the AFP.

we have had 2 phone calls. 1 yesterday and left a voice mail message saying AHHHH f*ck me!! tried calling it back. Australian contact centre. The next call was today. answered and he stayed on the line for a second then hung up. If i find the guy ill smash him

Rang today at 1pm, I don't answer unknown numbers. No msg left, checked on this site, glad I didn't answer - is now on my block list thanks to Reverse Australia & phone manufacturers coming up with a handy little block function!

I recently received mail from my bank ANZ. A few days later ANZ called about life insurance and I was not interested an hung up. The next working day, I have a call from the number 0438 057 233. But did not answer. It seems like they have passed on my details if it is marketing for insurance.

I just received a call from this number 0438 057 233, it was a guy claiming to be phoning people to introduce them to a new product called 'Insurance Line'. He told me that he wasn't trying to sell anything today just to make sure i was aware of the product. He asked whether i had seen the ads on tv, to which i said no. He said never mind and explained how i could be covered for up to 1 million dollars for a 1 off payment. He then proceeded to tell me that he'd get someone to phone me at a convenient time tomorrow and just wanted to get some information from me first, he added 'don't worry this information is nothing I wouldn't share myself' he then proceeded to ask my name and how to spell it. I replied and told him that I wasn't interested in a return call and he hung up on me. It sounded really suss all along but i wanted to see where it got to - what sort of scam it was. I must say he could be very convincing to some, be careful and do not tell him any personal information!
