Missed a call from this number and was unable to call them back ?

Received call yesterday 23 April, lady wanting to introduce me to same insurance company referred to below - Insurance Line. She was very nice and friendly, I felt a bit rude hanging up on her until I read this!

Have had several missed calls this week from this number 0438 057 233)
during work hours. When I tried to call them back the number rang through but then disconnected. Glad I checked this site before they could try to reach me again...
Will be blocking!

Got a call today from "Tom" from the "Australian Contact Centre", he asked me if I was interested in buying life or funeral insurance, before I could finish saying "I'm not interested" he hung up on me. SCAM.

Just missed a call from this number, by the looks of it, very dodgy!

It's a company from the Gold coast called " Australian Contact Centre " they have offices in New Zealand, and may be New Zealand owned.

Called with regards to a company called Insurance Line...NOT INTERESTED. STOP CALLING

Telemarketing BS fudruckers, got them to hang up on me by telling them for their training and coaching purposes they shouldn't bother to phone me or waste my time without consent

Tried to ring me twice seriously didn't know who it was so didn't answer so I text the number cause I didn't know who it was never replied back I have since blocked the number and told my friend to do the same

This number is a spam telemarketing company going under the disguise of the australian contact centre. you cannot call them back. I have made a formal complaint to telstra malicious calls dept - 1800 805 996.

I had the same problem. The Australian Contact Center....it is just a scam

The phone rang once and they hung up. Today and yesterday same thing. I read everyone elses comments and realised they must be telemarketers. Have blocked.

Must be a random number generator. Just had a call from 0438 057 233 on both of my mobiles within 2 hours of each other. These numbers are with different carriers and couldn't be more different. All seems a bit suss really can't wait till they call back so I can string them along for awhile and waste their time. Hahaha

I also received a call from this number there was an English sounding woman said that the call was being recorded and then it cut out for a number of seconds when it came back through she was laughing and "oh these silly phone lines are a bit like that these days aren't they" trying to be super nice... then asked me about funeral insurance when I said I wasn't interested she continued so I hung up on her.

Illegal for cold callers to call from a mobile..
So .. Scam already..
No way to stop them as if they are scamming already. Well they really don't care to start with.

Just received a call from this number, and a very nice-sounding lady wanted to talk to me regarding insurance and income protection and funeral planning etc. I hate to be rude to people and politely cut the conversation short. She offered to call me back tomorrow to continue the call. I will be blocking the number. Not interested in people cold-calling me asking me if I've begun planning my funeral. I'm only 32 years old! Bit morbid.

A rude telemarketer called me told me I would be recorded and asked if I had insurance, when i asked where she was calling from she became frustrated because she "already told me". block this number
