This number was used by a nice representative from Telstra who was calling me back, after we had spoken previously for technical support, to follow up on questions and help me with services. So, though the number is not available to call back, this case wasn't a scam or telemarketing call. Definitely scammers. Indian lady named 'Sandra' who said she was from Telstra and that there were hackers accessing our internet connection. We're not with Telstra. I tried to explain this and she became quite rude. I was called also text by this No re tech issue complaints to Telstra - funny thing was I have never ever lodge any tech issue complaint with Telstra......it is my work phone.....so I decided to block this No. Got a call from this number in relation to a support call I logged with Telstra, not sure why some comments suggest it's scammers. Scanners are giving out this number but not calling from this number. I had a complaint lodged with telstra and was phoned by this number. My complaint was dealt with and my relates account was fixed. Just because scanners quote a legitimate telstra number does not mean that's where they are calling from. If telstra tell you it's not one of theirs, they're wrong. It's the complaints and complex issues dept. I was told by Telstra that this is not a Telstra number. Interesting how so many above comments have said it is legit? This is telstra support. Not spam or scam artists. I was called by a call centre staff member (someone called 'Andy') representing Telstra from the phone number (03) 9107 5000 on 14.11.16. They had received my recent request for spray paint graffiti to be removed from the sides of an on street public pay phone box. They called from this phone number to advise me they have arranged for the request to be attended to and the graffiti removed, expected within the next month. They didn't want any info from me except where the public pay phone box / booth is with the graffiti on. This all seemed legit in response to my concerns. telstra level 3 technical support Probably a scam said" if you're Telstra you have my details so send me an email" I called back number (03) 9107 5000 reached IVR or a company called Telstra. Telstra calling back about a technical problem being resolved. This is Telstra, I lodged a complaint with the ombudsman about them, they were calling me to discuss it. Telstra Support Still happening, they try to push you to call them and threaten to disconnect your service, I am a techo and this is just a scam to frightrn older persons. Telstra This is a legitimate Telstra number. Definitely NOT a scam. I, like a lot of people, was undecided. I had occasion to contact Telstra myself. I got them to look up their internal directory. If you still have any doubt, I would suggest you do as I have done. Get secret questions (with answers only you know) put on your account and insist the caller asks you on all calls. I've had some very interesting comments from some scammers, when I confront them with my request. Anyway, deal with this number in confidence. Rose Wilson Telstra ID No. 145800 is a scammer said my internet was hacked and to open up the computer so she could have access - do not respond - report her n her phone no. Yes, same dodgey caller referring to a hacker, and saying she was based in some Melbourne office, but clearly a hoax. I had the same caller today, but I will not be calling her back.
