My call came from (08) 9247 5712 re use by overseas hackers. I asked for no. to call them back, & they gave the above (03) 9107 5000. I phoned Telstra 132200 who said to disregard call and send email to abuse @ telstra.net with the info which I did.

It's not scammers. I called 132 000 and spoke to Frank about some Tech issues, and 'HE' rang me back on this number upon following up if the issue was resolved. Legit Telstra phone call.

This is a correct number. I had a callback from John today who was assisting in Telstra faults and outages and getting the services running again. Its like a Telstra concierge service where they follow up to make sure you have all your services back online after downtime. Very helpful.

This number may be 'spoofed' by some scammers but in my case it really was Telstra. They were responding to an issue I had submitted online.

Team Viewer allows full REMOTE CONTROL of your computer. Never run team viewer unless you really trust the other person. Get your computer checked for root-kids which WILL pass all your passwords onto the scammer.

This is for all the stupid people. This is a scam! These people want to open a back door in your PC to get your information. DO NOT do what they ask. The will get upset and tell you they will cut of your internet for 6 weeks. When I laughed at one of them he said it would now be 6 months. Any post claiming this to be a legitimate Telstra number should be ignored.

A lady claiming to be from Telstra Technical Department saying that my internet was compromised and I should sit in front of my computer and give her details and could call her back by calling (03) 9107 5000. I didn't and you should not either. Call Telstra on 13 22 00 and report them.

This is a hoax call. Obtain all details in order to lodge a complaint with telecommunications ombudsman. If possible tape the call.

Legit for my case, but appears to be a number borrowed by scammers. I had logged a fault to Telstra Business a few days ago, this number is legit as they called back today about my case and had appropriate details including my unlinked non-Telstra mobile number.

The 03 9107500 number is a scam. Please don't give out personal information, just hang-up and call Telstra directly and report it.

I received a call today from a so called representative from Telstra advising of overseas hacking and offering to guide me through the functions of my Internet to correct and ensure my safety - the young lady provided her name as Rose Wilson, her telephone contact no as (03) 9107 5000 and identification number as D 145802. As I wasn't happy with the content of the conversation I declined her "offer of assistance"
