Absolute scam! I have now blocked their number .Only wish i didn't pick up. These people should be locked up and charged.

Nobody might have sold your silent number. I have a silent number and received a call from them as well. I presume they use random nine digit generation.

Caller: Automated Scam

Automated message: "The purchase you requested of $249.99 and the same will be debited from your account. If you did not place this order then call us on (03) 9005 6447 or press 1 to speak to a representative to cancel or get refund"

i received a message saying , " and $49.99 and the steam will be debited from your account. If you had not placed the order . Then call us back at 6139005

Didn't answer but left a message with same info as above have said - definite scam

Caller: Missed calls & message left which I didn't see until after I called back.

Man with Indian accent said someone had created an ebay account & purchased a $249.99 gift card. When I said it wasn't me, he said someone had hacked my details & I needed to complete a form to cancel it. When I told him I wasn't going to provide my credit card details, I would check with my credit card provider, he hung up!

This is a definate scam. I hung up as soon as I heard the accent on recorded message. It came to my mobile.
I then used my Voip ph (after making the caller ID not show) to call that number back. You can ring them & abuse them !!!!!!
I'm doing it every 5 min or so always making sure my calling number is hidden. I abuse them -they hang up quick. BUT the bottom line is IF we ALL do it we can drive them mad !

Please ring this Number & annoy them --Making sure they can't see your number - - -

same as the above but I Just put it on mute and wait for them to hang up, marks your number as invalid and they usually wont try again

to do with ebay supposedly someone was to have hacked my details and ordered something from china and i needed to connect with ebay customer support to fix it I said ok Ill do that and hung up. that wasn't quite they wanted me to do .

block the number first, then report to stop it!
