The message got to ‘This is an automated call’ before I hung up and blocked the number. Nothing purchased on eBay and nothing flagging on the account - it’s a scam

'Ebay' claiming a debit had been made that needed to be cancelled. Gave them random card numbers and they hung up.

I also got called with a $249.99 debit and a number to call.

Received a call from this number today saying I would be charged $249.99. Hung up immediately as I do not purchase online this scam should be stopped.

Same message as everyone saying debuted 249.99 (or something like that) and if I didn’t organise that then press 1 immediately or call some number- this is happening all the time lately- calls, emails saying similar stuff - am bloody fed up! I’d like to get my hands on the bastard who sold my silent number!!

An Indian female prerecorded scammer message telling about a purchase of $249.9 asking you to call back or press 1 for more information, just ignore don't call back and block the number.

eBay scam about needing to pay $249.99

Just received the same from (08) 7200 1045... although mine was about $299.99. Just hang up on them obviously. Dodgy!

My wife just had a robocall as well. She doesn't use E-Bay. The chap started talking to me about going to Anydesk, which confirmed my suspicions. As soon as I mentioned I was on to him, he hang-up.

Got a missed call from South Australia and even left a voicemail talking about money coming from my eBay account. Blocked and leaving it alone, Scam.

Same message I received today. Told them I'd handle it via my bank. They tried to argue.....

A scam phone message about money. Delete anything from this number immediately.

$249.99 Will be debited from my account. You got to be sh*tting me. I have never meaning not ever had an ebay account. Wankers just hang up.
