Caller: Said it was from Paypal

I suspect this is a genuine call from Paypal as they advised me of a deposit in my account and had the name of the only person who has ever deposited money in that account, However I did not click the link just to to be safe. I did log into my account and there had been a deposit from that person of that amount,

I do not have a PayPal account and I received a text message at 11.19PM on 02/07/2018. The text message said - PayPal: You've received $30 AUD from Joshua Watts. For details, go to www.paypal.com/vst/id=94H74659TA4188739

Please be cautious of this number. I called it when I was at work and it was a disconnected line. Did not click on the link.

It’s Paypal authenticating your mobile number because you have selected to authenticate your self to PayPal’s login system while logging into PayPal.

Or

Someone has accidentally entered your number when trying to authenticate them selves.
