Caller: Said her name is Sandhya Telstra ID 730101. She was ringing about a problem which I had logged last week. However quoted the wrong INC number & could barely speak English. She also failed to use the letter Telstra uses in front of the ID & when I questioned her she didn't know what I was talking about. She was unable to tell me what the problem was & how it was solved. I had a very specific issue. Asked me to hold but I hung up after a minute as the call was very suspicious.

Caller: Telstra I was sure this was a scammer because the person sounded so dodgy and almost impossible to understand but later rang Telstra on the 1800 834 273 number and actually this was a genuine call. But not very professional to leave a message saying your case is 'fiction' and demanding you call back.

Person with a very heavy Indian accent claiming to be from Telstra, telling me my complaint was fictional, and demanding I phone 1800 834 273 which is apparently a fake Telstra scam operation although it is also given as a genuine Telstra number. Telstra is so disgraceful its hard to tell who's a criminal imposter and who's genuine, I'm just confused.

I get calls from this number twice a day. I'm not a telstra customer so I believe it's likely a scammer.

Caller: A Scammer not Telstra Doubt very much that it’s Telstra. Trying to text ‘Me’ about a fault?? I don’t have anything to do with them! They may have some jurisdiction over the NBN but your own co with sort your problems! Nah!! It’s a Scam for sure!! In any event they would email not call and/or text!!!🙂

Caller: Telstra Genuine Telstra representative helping me with an NBN fault. She had one of the strongest accents I've ever encountered extending a 10 minute to 30 minutes due to my inability to interpret her instructions.

Caller: Telstra This is a legitimate call, however it baffles me why it was neccessary. My whole dealings with them were via the chat function on the offical Telstra app. Then you geta call from a random number wanting permission to close the "ticket". Just message on the app!!!

Caller: Not Telstra I've been called by Telstra before and this is NOT the number they call from. I got 2 calls from this number today within 3 hours of each call. The caller leaves a voicemail and it's the same repeated line by line message that the person is reading from. There's nothing that indicates this is a Telstra call. Telstra don't call you - they text and email. My NBN issue was fixed weeks ago and with a follow up email and text.

I've been called by Telstra before and this is NOT the number they call from. I got 2 calls from this number today within 3 hours of each call.
