Telstra called to offer me good customer service to resolve my issue, and gave me this number to call them on.
I told Telstra that this is the number that I am speaking to them on NOW

Got a 2nd call from "Telstra" on (02) 8260 0000 and they left a vmail. Said to call them back on 1800 834 273.
I actually contacted Telstra via their online chat (whilst I was logged into their 24/7 app).. to confirm if my NBN order was all good - they said it is progressing along as normal.
Telstra couldn't confirm if (02) 8260 0000 was their number.. however, there were no notes in my NBN order advising their was an issue.
My Parents have no nbn phone or internet at all in Casino all day due to outage in the area. Telstra complaints say there is nothing wrong. They can't ring on a mobile because Telstra does not cover that part of Casino. So my Elder Parents have no access to a phone or internet. Telstra complaints will not listen THERE IS NO SERVICE IN THE STREET. They can send a tach guy at $135 an hour. This has happen over and over again since NBN. Heavens above if they require medical assistance!
WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP BECAUSE TELSTRA COMPLAINTS SAID IT'S FINE. BULL sh*t!!!!!How can you tell when you are in another country. ITS NOT ACCEPTABLE.
I had this and checked with Telstra. This a legit number for Telstra help with NBN. Although voice is heavily accented.

Got a text on 25/10/19 asking me to ring this number, 1800 834 273/">1800 834 273, in connection with an existing problem.
I had a real Telstra fault from 17/10 in which the Telstra FTTH NBN landline/wifi box had failed (NBN box was OK). I had a fault number in a text from the time I was working with the Faults Person in the Philippines call centre. This text also had the link www.telstra.com/support and no phone number.
On 25/10 I recd a text, in my 'conversation' of regular texts reminding me to renew my prepaid, correctly quoting the fault number, saying there was more testing to do (which there wasn't) and saying I should ring the number 1800 834 273 to achieve this. There was also link, www.telstra.com/aaaaa (where the ‘a’s represent random letters and numbers) to tap on.
On 26/10 after installing the replacement box everything worked except for removing the diversion of the LL number to another mobile. I rang the 1800 number seeking help. The call was auto answered and immediately I recd multiple identical texts with a link to tap on for help. I hung up and called the regular fault number 132200 from the LL phone. This was immediately answered by a Telstra Faults Person who was able to remove the stubborn diversion. However in Identifying me before doing this the FP twice sent texts with a PIN for me to read back to her to positively identify me. On both occasions I saw the preview of these texts but when I opened the ‘conversation’ they had been deleted only the 10 or 12 dodgy txts were visible for 26/10. ID was completed by my quoting my account number and billing address.

Continues to call asking for a person I do not know saying that the NBN connection box is not working & a technician needs to be sent out to the area. I told them they have the wrong number & to remove my number from the call list & to stop harassing me!!! I have blocked the phone number & everyday they leave voicemail messages. Calls from Indian males & females with terrible accents that are difficult to understand. Bloody idiots.

(02) 8904 2000 gave short ring, left NBN connection style message for someone else, so these two numbers are related. SCAM. We already have NBN.
Rang and wanted to see if my NBN was working and had me answering questions that he should have known, Scam so hung up

Phone call from (02) 8260 0000, said he was argashi from tesltra, calling re my nbn appointment. We are not with telstra, told him where to go and hung up. He rang back and left a message to ring 1800 834 273 with an order number. Rang telstra on 132200 , they said as we are not with telstra, a technician would not call in regards to the nbn, and advised to report as a scam. Caller: Telstra
Claimed they were Telstra NBN Case Management. I rang back and was given a Ref # - they seemed to be from Tesltra NBN as we had just ordered it and been given the install dates and received the modem etc. Perhaps someone can confirm if it is Tesltra NBN?
Official looking email received 22/1 (TELSTRA CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM - SERVICE.INTERRUPTION @ TELSTRA.COM) stating that NBN network may be interrupted on 28/1 between 11 and 6pm to perform maintenance by NBN company on the network in my area. On 28/1, call from 02140331242 saying internet and landline will be cut off, dial 1 for technican. That number could not be connected! We rang 1800 834 273, and were advised this was a scam. number is Perth area code. Says they are from TSA ???? Gave me an ID number but didn't give me any time to check the number and wanted my personal details.
Got annoyed when I said I wanted to ring the number first to check them out.,
She claims I have to undertake the appointment they want rather than initiating NBN myself or I'll miss out. Nothing professional about this call!!

I had a call to update NBN changeover dates and organise appointment date. I didn't give personal details when they rang, and they were professional, understanding and provided me with this number to call back as well as their ID. I checked number online with telstra contact details before ringing back.
An indian sounding voice rang at 6PM claiming to be from telstra. AT 6PM!!!!!!
Telstra claim Says that I need to book a time for the NBN installation. It is already operating and has been for months!
