Caller: Coles Financial Services first got a call at 7-00 pm, i was driving so told to call back later. next time had bad reception and again got a call which i missed. after reading the comments don't intend to pick up their call

First call not answered and no message left. Second call she said she was from Pulse Network Services, sounded like a Filipino. I hung and blocked the number.

Caller: (02) 9296 5684 said she was from Coles Mastercard and could offer me a promotion. not a native English speaker, very bad line. she asked for my personal details and i said i could not understand due to bad line. she ended call.

Caller: (02) 9296 5684 They check you can see the phone number (which is for Coles financial services) BUT anyone can fake the phone number they call from when calling from a computer. So that seemed like a confidence trick! Then confirm your secret details ...SCAM!!!!!

Said they were Coles Financial Services but the voice sounded like one of those old monies where they place a hanky over the mouthpiece, wanted to confirm details, they had my name, sounded corny I hung up as it seemed like a spammer.

It could be Coles credit cards, but don’t forget that sometimes data gets stolen and it may (or may not be) crooks ringing you back. Or if legit, they are probably offering you a low interest line of credit. Just be aware of fees attached if considering it.

Thanks for everyone's comments on this number (02) 9296 5684. I get one call a day at present but do not answer as not a recognised number (to me) and never a voice message left. I have had texts from Coles Financial Service about low interest repayment plans on MasterCard account. Same info attached to statement posted out. This is a very bad way to do business. With all the money scams around, no one should give out any information to a cold caller. Especially not to a call centre.

Had 2 calls late this afternoon. One hang up upon answering and not long after that they called again left a voice mail message which was blank.

Caller: Coles Financial Services Answered call & there was a delay followed by a lady with ‘foreign’ accent. Said she was calling for Coles FS - I have a Coles account. Background vacant sounding ‘echo’ along with delay makes me think overseas call centre...? Not sure what the deal was. I didn’t have time to stay on call. They said they would call back....
