Caller: through this page I have discovered it's Coles Financial Services. Have had 4 calls from this number this week. I do not answer numbers I don't recognise. If it's important and they need to speak to me I figure they'll leave a message. This number never does.

Caller: Weird voice claiming to be from Coles Financial Services Weird voiced woman had some relevant details on me wanting me to do something. Sounded very dodgy to me so I terminated the call. If Coles are trying to sell more services to people they are going about it the wrong way!!!!!

This number has called me 3 times in 3 days, I never answer unless it’s someone I know, they never leave a message but based on what everyone else has said I guess it’s Coles Financial services trying to do the hard sell (very hard sell to call 3 times in as many days) cold calling.

Caller: I don’t know I answered but there was silence and I hung up. I do have a no annual fee Coles credit card which I have had for many years and been happy with, but have been receiving unwanted communication from them in the last week asking me if I’d like to convent the balance ($800) to a set number of fixed repayments, (which I don’t want to). If this continues, I’ll consider closing the account.

Caller: A woman Called me about a credit card in which I don’t have. Asked me to repeat the number of the phone line back to her which I did and it’s this number. Then wanted me to repeat the number, the whole time she was attempting to get me to say the word yes. She said it was being recorded. I hung up when she asked me to repeat. Scam scam scam.

Caller: Told to be Coles Financial I had Coles Mastercard which I closed and do not have any interest in buying any new product. The lady started with my name pronounced wrongly and abbreviated my short name herself. Immediately I understood she has done some research and I told I am not that person.

Caller: Coles mastercard (allegedly) It's worth noting that Coles have a scam warning page which, amongst other things, warns people that there are phone scams which claim to be from Coles: https://www.coles.com.au/customer-service/scam-warning
I didn't participate in this obviously clumsy effort to rip me off.

Caller: Not sure If this is Coles, they can email me any offers they have ... I will call them if interested. This number called my phone and it went to voicemail but no one spoke. I will block number - I have better things to do than argue with people.

I answered but just silence on the other end.
From previous comments, it appears to be Coles and I do have a Coles Mastercard, but I am not interested in any offers or changing what I have, so I blocked the number.
