Had a call from this number. Did not answer and did not leave a message. Seeing the previous complaints, I would say it was a spam call. I have not been with optus for over 20 years so no reason for them to be calling me.

Lady called claiming to be from Optus. Wanted to know why I had transferred my service to another provider even though I had already completed their online survey. She was laughing with her colleagues and not paying attention when I responded which I found inappropriate. She then proceeded to offer me a deal to switch back to Optus. I explained that I had no intention of transferring back but before I could end the call she interrupted me and kept insisting. She then proceeded to claim that my new provider doesn't offer 5g so I should switch back which is a lie and I could literally see the 5g network connection on my phone at that very moment. Do yourself a favour and ignore calls from this number.

A legitimate call from Optus to confirm if I was happy with the service the NBN technician provided and to confirm they have been monitoring my internet usage and are confident the issue has now been resolved.

I received a call from Steven in the Optus team on this number on 29 December, with an Australian accent and asking if I had the time to discuss the recent Optus data breach court case. I asked him to contact me tomorrow instead, and in the meantime I contacted Optus about the number (02) 9174 4000. Optus verified the call was legitimate and that I can safely continue discussing the matter with him.

definitely a dodgy call centre claiming to be optus , definitely an accent from the sub-continet of bombay and pretty rude. Do not pick up and if you do tell them to gtfo.

Got a call & message from "Jemer" @ Optus. Apparently they have completed my request - not sure what the request would be.
Whilst the message did come through amongst my other Optus messages the actual call did not display as being a call from Optus, just showed the number (02) 9174 3000. The message received had a link for me to clink on (Don't worry I haven't), I never answer a call I don't recognize and always search the number when I can. I am glad I did especially after reading everyone's comments in relation to this number.

This is the Optus Resolution Centre and genuine as far as i know. They resolve Complaints that you have made although Indian representatives.

Exact same thing here.
I personally rang Optus customer services myself to have an issue resolved with my account, then received a call from this number mid way through whilst still in the middle of talking directly to an official Optus rep.
