Same reference number 080456. Kept on hold and hung up on. Definitely a scam.

Received same and all info is as per above posts....there must be a way of tracking down these low lifes surely the Federal Police have the know how to do so.

Definite SCAM. I was quoted the same 'Application No.' as everybody else on this page '080456' and asked to phone (02) 9099 1773.

Left message saying they have attempted to contact me in the past about pension back pay and quoted reference number 080456 asked me to call canberra (02) 9099 1773 i'm not on any pension nor do i have any dealings with centrelink but my daughter does but they don't have my home number very much a scam

Recording saying same as below comments, shows up Sydney but refers to Centrelink file being transferred to Canberra wish govt would sort this as one day I’m going to ignore the real thing.

Funny thing though, I'm not even close to being old enough to be a pensioner.

I got exactly the same call, (& reference number by the way), but as a recorded message, these little bastards are getting more & more sophisticated.

Definely a scam. Indian voice answers with hello centrelink- no wait times. Furious also as they upset my elderly pensioner parents. So angry that im going to call them back and abus the f... K out of them

Similar to yours, re pension rising but we have failed to respond to calls either by phone or email. Call was a long gabble about pension rise etc. & now Centrelink has moved to Singapore. hmmmm What a load of bovine manure.

I have had the same call today (07/12/2017) Ref #080456 to quote and all call Centrelink Canberra on (02) 9099 1773. I have not called but have checked if there is any correspondence on my MyGov account and no there is nothing .........
