I'd made a report about internet cut outs earlier in the evening. Optus said they would text me an update. I now realise the call (unanswered) I received from this number at 1.00am the following morning was from them. Shame on you OPTUS!!

I have had 5 calls people claiming to be Optus customers, saying they have been rerouted to my mobile number with service difficulties.
I suspect this is a scam.
How do I block them?

Scam . This number has been blocked by my IPHONE . Let them ring as much as they like , there will be no answer . HA HA HA

I received 2 missed call from this number. When I called back no answer.

Had a missed call two days ago, when I rang it went straight to busy tone
Had a missed call today, when I called back it rang indefinitely with no answer.

Five calls in a day from these creeps. Suggest blocking this number if you can.

Said my application for an Optus connection had been declined and wanted to know my personal details! Very dodgy.

This number rang today and I answered but then the phone disconnected the call. Does anyone know what this number is for? telemarketer? scam?

I have had calls from someone with a foreign accent who ask for me by name and said they had my mother on another line and it was an emergency would I accept the call I said yes and then was told that she had disconnected. It wasn't true.
