Caller: Credit Corp

Credit Corp continually chase you for supposedly unpaid debts that they have purchased from a finance company for as little as 4c in every debt dollar you supposedly owe. So for a $1000 debt they have purchased for as little as $40.
Never ever ring them back as your credit 7 year blacklist will start again.
Your debt gets wiped after 7 years if you don't make any contact with them.
Block their number but they will continually ring you on other phone numbers that they have a rotation of hundreds of landlines & mobile phone numbers they use.
Rule of thumb is never answer any phone calls from people you don't know if they aren't in your address book.

I called back number (02) 4302 4893 spoke to a woman who said I've reached a switchboard but did not say for what company.

I received a scam hoax phone call from dodgy Credit Corp (02) 4302 4893 on my unlisted private phone number and they did not leave a message and when you ring the number back they will not disclose their organisations name so I blocked the number and reported it to the ACCC Scamwatch https://www.scamwatch.gov.au/report-a-scam. The last time I had credit was 20 years ago. The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) produces a Debt collection guideline for collectors & creditors https://www.accc.gov.au/publications/debt-collection-guideline-for-coll… Unnecessary or unduly frequent contacts may amount to undue harassment of a debtor. The ACCC recommends that you do not contact a debtor more than three times per week, or 10 times per month at most.

This number (02) 4302 4893 calls many times a week. It uses the same prefix with different extensions.
I do not answer & they don't leave any messages. It is harrassment by unknown & unsolicited caller.
Please, do not answer calls from people or supposed companies that you are not associated with. Please, do not give your personal details to any one or a company that you don't deal with, for your safety & not to be scammed.
