Caller: Scum Scammer

Scumbag scammer. Reported, blocked and curse placed on all involved.

I received a scam hoax phone call from dodgy Credit Corp (02) 8024 9489 on my unlisted private phone number and they did not leave a message and when you ring the number back they will not disclose their organisations name so I blocked the number. The last time I had credit was 20 years ago. The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) produces a Debt collection guideline for collectors & creditors https://www.accc.gov.au/publications/debt-collection-guideline-for-coll… Unnecessary or unduly frequent contacts may amount to undue harassment of a debtor. The ACCC recommends that you do not contact a debtor more than three times per week, or 10 times per month at most.

Credit corp debt collector

They called my workplace and threatened me. They were calling my neighbours, and family members threatening them.
these people will constantly harass you for months on end.

even if you have a debt with them, and you pay it. They tell you they've never received payment or you've paid the wrong amount. They told me they would do whatever is necessary to get to me.

They legally have to give you their name and what company they are from, they use scare tactics and bully people.

Called from (02) 8024 9489 and it only rang 3 times, hung up and didn't leave a message - this screams scammer! I always check and sure enough there are a whole lot of complaints on here. BLOCKED!

Caller: A slimy person

Was a very devious and deceptive person, so I would say a scammer. Most scammers are at the bottom of the food chain, so hurling insults at them will hurt no one.

I called back the number (02) 8024 9489 and the person I spoke with said its a company switchboard

“!!” Speaking. They never say “Welcome to Credit Corp ‘!!’ Speaking”. I don’t respond to the clandestine tactics they use.

I returned a call, a lady answered and wanted to know my details, but did not want to reveal her company name, said she from a company in Sydney. I won't give her my details without knowing which company she calling from. She said that was ok and hanged up on me.

I called back number (02) 8024 9489 spoke to a guy but did not say from what company.
