Caller: Suspect credit Corp, using a Hobart number this time

Annoying frequent calls looking for someone else but insisting I give my details. No way!
Refuse to identify who they are but I suspect Credit Corp. Wish they’d update their info.

I received a scam hoax phone call from dodgy Credit Corp (03) 6217 9807 on my unlisted phone number and they did not leave a message and when you ring the number back they will not disclose their organisations name so I blocked the number. The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) produces a Debt collection guideline for collectors & creditors https://www.accc.gov.au/publications/debt-collection-guideline-for-coll… Unnecessary or unduly frequent contacts may amount to undue harassment of a debtor. The ACCC recommends that you do not contact a debtor more than three times per week, or 10 times per month at most.

calls but no message left

Debt collectors. Asked for someone I didn’t know and wanted to confirm my details. I said I confirm that I’m the person you called but I’m not the person you’re wanting to speak too.

I called back the number (03) 6217 9807 and spoke with a lady that did not mention the company name
