They ring every weekday but ends before I get to the phone. Over it, will not answer it ever.

I also have been getting 3-4 missed calls over the past 3 days. Will contact Telstra to add my number to the "do not call" list. Thanks for the advice.

I've been getting at least two calls per day for the last 5 working days, from this number. As I did not recognise the number, I did not pick up. Thanks to all for your reports here. Now I know, never to pick up. When will these idiots learn that this is no way to market their schlock services or whatever they wish to "stitch you up" on. Great work, everyone who reports this. People power will win in the end. :-)

You are charged for these calls. Do not answer, do not call them back. They will claim to be from Telstra, and want to confirm personal details. They are actually making money just by being on the phone to you. The business name is TSA Telco Group. They know you have recently changed provider to Telstra, or that you are an Optus customer etc via the carrier look-up service, not because they are authorised to contact you.

CALL THEM BACK, FOLLOW THE PROMPTS AND GET YOURSELF TAKEN OFF THEIR LIST. DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE, and, if you do, DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL DETAILS.

Spoke to someone who said they were from telstra and when i showed little interest they were very sarcastic and then hung up. Very RUDE

I too keep getting calls from this number but I do not answer because I have a phone where the number is displayed. The do not call register seems to be overriden by these annoying people. I believe they get a computer to ring the numbers and when answered someone rushes to answer the phone. Be aware if you do answer then they have a record of when you are likely to be home. I hate these people and wished they would get themselves a proper job.

I also have had numerous calls from this number. Today they said they were calling for Telstra. They had my surname but not my first name and asked what my first name was. Telstra would know all the details. Hang up if you get a call from this number

Rings 3-4 times a day and just hangs up when answer

Started getting hang ups from this number today, hubby got two last night. WTF....wierdos

3-4 times per day for 2 weeks from this number.Just phoned telstra and hopefully this will be blocked. Was also advised to re check with the do not call register which I have done.

i've been getting the calls from this number, but no one on the other end, bizzare to ring and then not talk?

they just rang me but it only rang once and stopped

I followed the advice and when I called the number, automated service said there would be a 30 day period to get the number removed. So I went through to their operator in the Philippines who had nothing on the system to have this number removed from calling. Went through the process with her. Have my doubts that this will stop immediately. Being on Do Not Call doesn't seem to stop these people either.

Asked for me by name and then hung up. Did not call back. Very strange. Has anyone ever been sold anything? Is this some kind of presence check?

Followed Nealg advice from: December 12, 2011 above & got onto Telstra and asked to 'opt-out' of getting anymore calls. Use 1800 039 059 or pr***cy @ online.telstra.com.au

They ring me every single day - but I do not answer calls from unidentified numbers so they're wasting their time ringing me.

I get at least 4 calls a week,and now I just reject the call as soon as I see the number.I wonder if it happens to subscribers other than Telstra Network?

they let the phone ring twice then hang up. very annoying, they have called twice today already
