I just ignored a call from this number.

...Add me to the list who have had enough of Telstra and TSA harrassment, calling every day, I'm ready to disconnect my home phone as the only calls I get are annoying timewasters and scammers. Can anyone explain why Telstra think this is a great marketing ploy, to annoy your most loyal customers???

Dear Telstra just send us a letter dont bug us on the phone or we might go some where else you are what you are because of your customers a lot of companies tend to forget or dont care but your customer cares!!!!

Not this particular number but another number I complained about to Telstra came back and told me that these scams are using Skype and some other similar program to get around the Do Not Call Register which I am on and still get these mongrels ringing - I've had this (08) number ringing me for days but I have hit the reject button and it kicks over straight away to my message bank and surprise surprise no message left - hmmmm and a bit GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Have been getting these call for a while. Rang Telstra and they told us it is a scam as Telstra doesn't ring anyone unless you have rang them first and they need to ring you back. eg for a repair complaint etc. THEY NEVER RING OUT OF THE BLUE FOR ANYTHING! Including the so called "courtesy" calls. anyone ringing out of the blue saying they are from Telstra BEWARE ITS A SCAM!!!!

This is a TELSTRA marketing number!!!

Sooooo inconvenient, frustrating, annoying & they are rude & invasive.
I called them today to tell them exactly what I thought of their continuing calls—

HA!! They have an answering-machine to collect the calls to this number (08) 6228 4014 how typical of Telstra!

I find it infuriatingly funny how when following the instructions to remove my number from their calling list, they say, "we now require some further personal details, inc' name contact number etc!!"

WHAT A JOKE TELSTRA COMMUNICATIONS IS & WHAT A HUGE SHAME THEY HAVE THE MONOPOLY ON TELECOMMUNICATIONS HERE IN AUSTRALIA

I'm so disappointed with Telstra [im sure many others out there are too.] If anyone else is, please, give this a reply, voice your opinion & let's be heard...

this number called me today and was VERY RUDE when I told him I was unable to speak to him. He did say he was from Telstra.

I wish these people would leave me alone!!

Don't get sucked in - they offered me a deal that looked good without exposing the fine print.

They are related to Telstra, but the company is called TSA - Telco Services Australia. Unfortunately, they can call you even if you are on the Do-Not-Call Register, as Telstra's privacy policy allows Telstra to 'Direct Market' to you their products/services (including via contractors) - thus, you consent to being contacted by them when you sign up with Telstra. However, Telstra allows you to opt-out of this by ringing 1800 039 059 (option 1) or by ringing the number TSA or Telstra called you on (and pressing opt-out option).

Definitely a scam, but no idea what they're getting out of it. I fell for it - it was convincing as they asked if it was a good time to call, which it was not, so they called back later. Then they asked about my phone and internet plans (which they had information about) and asked me to confirm my DOB and surname - both of which Telstra also asks for. They offered a $10 per month discount on my plan and said to wait on the line. But they didn't return. It's a mystery to me what they could get from any of this.

After speaking with a consultant from Telsta, I can confirm that this number is not from Telstra and they do not represent Telstra in any way. As others have said, don't provide any information if they call. Best to just block the number and report it to scamwatch.gov.au

(08) 6288 4009 also says they are ringing for TELSTRA grrrrr

I have contacted Telstra they advised do NOT give any information. It is not a Telstra company. Good luck.

I have contacted Telstra today and they will report this number because there is no record on my file of telstra calling me. Their advice is do NOT answer. If anybody answers please ask them to give you "your" account number and tell them you will ring Telstra. Do NOT give any personal details.

I am fed up with (08) 6228 4014 calling sometimes 4 times a day.
I have now put the number on my contacts as DO NOT ANSWER.
If I found out who they are they will be eating their telephone or be wearing it in a very uncomfortable place.

Thanks guys for identifying these TSA loonies. I have now added them to my IGNORESPAM list of numbers which is configured to have no ring tone; Sadly there are now 49 phone numbers on my SPAM list. I wish they would stop irritating me with their calls - at no stage has any of them left a message!

I answer the phone from (08) 6228 4014 and no one is there. I keep getting calls tho.

They call and call and call. They are now asking for me by my first name.............
