Several calls a day for weeks now. I am SO sick of this. Good to know who it is.
It's telstra My partner was constantly receiving calls from this scam company, their numbers being (08) 6228 4014 and also ending with the numbers 09, 10. I believe that they have more numbers. We have contacted the Australian Federal Police as such scamming offences are Federal Criminal Offences, not state. I suggest that anyone else being contacted by these numbers contact the AFP and lodge a formal complaint. But make sure you have any records of the calls logged and verified by someone that would be trusted by the AFP. Good luck. Yup, the same number keeps calling me - it rings twice, then hangs up - so sod 'em, I've blocked the little bastards. Phone supposed to be blocked from marketing calls yet have still received two from (08) 6228 4014 which disconnected when answered. If you have an iphone, go into the call history/logs, hit the info symbol to the right of the phone number they are calling from. This will bring up the call details, then scroll to bottom of screen and 'block this caller'. I was sick and tired of getting
missed calls from this number. Phoned back and got a recording that was so fast I couldn't understand a word of what was being said. Still getting the calls. Will try to call Telstra as I am already a customer.
How do you block numbers on your mobile I received a call from this number (supposedly Telstra). Gurav was wanting to ask about my experience with Tesltra; he knew my name and wanted me to confirm my date of birth. I informed him that I was not willing to disclose this information, and that he had initiated the call. He explained that he was authentic (may well have been) and that he has my details because I am a current Telstra customer. I informed him that I am actually no longer a Telstra customer, at which he was surprised. I explained that this should be something he is aware of, and ended the conversation. It may well have been a legitimate call, but I am not happy to hand out my personal information when they have called me. sounds like hellen wells the rip off tele marketers They called us to-day....what's the point and why waste a call? This number calls my home phone and now my mobile day after day...they always hang up when/if I answer. What's the point of calling? totally annoying. why can't they be stopped? somebody is cooling every day from this No - (08) 6228 4014 I have no idea what they wont They are cooling every day Very, very, very, very, very insistent on getting my D.O.B. information and promising he can get me a better deal on my Telstra service. Didn't seem very professional either. had a call from this number this evening, 6pm. I always ignore calls from numbers I don't know, but since they've been soooo persistent (calling me twice a day for the past week), I answered and they tried to get me to sign up to a plan and not be on prepaid lol I just blocked them - problem solved So changing providers after being called a c#%t because I wasn't able to listen to there spiel today SHAME on you Telstra.... TSA Telco Group - doing telemarketing for Telstra. Pay no attention whatsoever to the Do Not Call Register. Really irritating as have called me everyday this week. If you don't pick up the phone they just keep calling you.
When I spoke to a person it was an Indian who said he could give me his Telstra employee number to prove he was from Telstra....yeah right.
Got a call from this number today, (08) 6228 4014, looking for my partner (who is at work every day at this time). I told them he was unavailable but I am his partner and live with him so if it's important they can talk to me about it. Not only was she rude from that point on, she never actually got the the point of what she was apparently calling about (she was Indian and didn't speak very good English, but she said something about how we needed to update some personal details), and ended up trying to sell me some crap I ALREADY have access to (that Telstra SHOULD BE fully aware of, being they came and installed everything themselves). Then she asked if I use the home system often and if I was using it to talk to her. When I replied with "Well, being that you are apparently calling FROM Telstra shouldn't you already know what number you are speaking to me on?". She then disconnected the phone call. I do not believe for one second that they really are from Telstra.
