Been calling my mobile for about two weeks. Just switched over my Telstra plan from business to business and started getting these calls. Is there a leak at Telstra or have they sold my number to a Telemarketer?

They are bugging me!! Five calls before midday!! Can't somebody shut them down?

This number calls me every day and I have never answered it....how the hell do I stop it, anyone know?

Yep TGA kept calling even after I requested them to stop, called Telstra direct, In the end gave them the ultimatum stop the calls or you'll lose the account(s) Within seven days.

At least got the admissions from Telstra that TGA are a marketing company working for Telstra

Had 7 calls today alone, like others glad I didn't anser and used google

claimed to be from Telstra but clearly wasn't.
Easy brushed off, but these people should be prosecuted for deliberately misleading people.

I have just been on the phone to Telstra about this group and TSA (02) 6228 4009) who also call as if they are stalking Telstra told me they contract these people to sell products on their behalf. I suggest you dial the telstra complaints departmnent - insist on talking to someone in australia as I did and lodge your complaint. The DND register doesn't work as you may be a customer of a company that has provided them your details because in 9 font somewhere on your terms and conditions it says they can provide your details to contractors. If you complain they can take you off the distribution list to these contractors and you should not be harrassed again.

That's the first one this week. Will now wait for the next three calls, all from different call centres. I just tell take me off their list as they can't beat me current prices!

This mob are a pain in the back side, ring me at least once a day. Its about time Telstra and the government did something about these scams.

I had a call from a gentleman claiming to be from TGE wanting to speak to the account holder about changes to the phone lines. I said no one was available at the present time. I took his number down which was totally different 1800 081 661) to the one that came up on my phone.

TGE ? Telstra give them the numbers to ring. Took me lots of calls to get to talk to someone as it usually just goes dead when they say they are putting you through. If you answer there is never anyone there. Very dodgy company. THANKS Telstra.

They have been calling my mobile and landlines daily for almost 2all weeks now and never leave messages. Thankfully I have not actually answered any of the calls since I soon figured it was a scammer but sheesh I am totally sick of all the calls. How do I block or report them?

This number rang and told me they were telstra after i ask if i hung up and dialed the telstra help line they would offer me the same deal etc., the guy came clean and started again. I said this is bull and i am hanging up as i was hanging up the voice yelled you are Bull sh*t. A very bad call indeed. warning others. they rang back so many times and still ringing.

Keep receiving calls from this number...nuisance caller...no one on other end of the phone........

Some knob that sounds like he is high and/or drunk. The only reason I continued talking to him was he didn't have an accent. Said telstra told him to call. Saved in phone book as "Jibbering fool" now

I have been receiving calls from a similar number (08) 6228 4014- claiming to be telstra. I knew it was a scam because they called me by my maiden name and i changed my name with telstra already! So sick of receiving calls from people just trying to scam people out of money! get a friggen job like the rest of us hard working tax payers!
