Scam company reported to AFP

(08) 6228 4009 keeps calling me to and hanging up after one or two rings, I assume they want me to ring them to find out who I missed the call from but after reading this I will just block them.

I have had a total of 18 missed calls on my mobile from this number. Although I don't hear the call as I have the number rejected in my phone, I would say that this is bordering on stalking. Time for some action to be taken I think.

This number is still ringing people.. keeps ringing and then hangs up.. thank goodness for this site.

Easy to recognise spam caller number. Despite my listing on the DNC register (which means 9/10ths of bugger all)i've had the pleasure of picking up the receiver and dropping it straight back down in the cradle twice, today. Nice work Dan.

I was getting calls from a blocked number every day. I ended up calling my telco, and they have to, by law, put a trace on your phone to screen calls. You then keep a log of times they call, Telstra trace the call and can disconnect the service where the unwanted calls are coming from. My annoying calls ended that very day. How strange.

Lucky I have caller ID. I just put them under Fake Telstra and don't answer. Very annoying, do not give them the satisfaction of answering.

I reported these guys to Telstra and was told they are telemarketers and they are sending out a letter to TSA to take me off their call list. Today TSA rang and are telling me they are employed by Telstra(?). Too confused!

and I am on the DON'T CALL list. Can't somebody do something about these people?????

Asked me to do survey re recent Telstra. Installation.

Similar to above; plus he asks me for my details (for telstra security) - I said he should know because he rang me; he carried on about needing to know, so I hung up.

Time for Telstra to get the federal police involved. I was lured into speaking to a caller because she said she was from Telstra.

I got about 6 calls in 3 days, all missed calls. I called 1800 805 996 and asked Telstra to get them to stop calling. Telstra said they would send an email and they should stop within 24 hours. They gave me a reference number and said to let them know if they still called and they could put a trace on where the calls are coming from. So we shall see...

These guys have been ringing for me years. Its a scam, they ring once so you think you have missed a call. then you ring them back to see who it was and they make money from it.

Most mobile phones now have an option to block numbers. Add them to your address book and put them on your reject call list.

When they rang I absolutely gave it to them. Rang Telstra and got the number blocked from my business lines. I don't care if they telemarket but I do care that they lie about who they are and that they had my info.

Good luck stopping them. My husband is terminally ill and no matter what I do, or who I complain to they continue to harass him. I'm at my wits end with them. The fact is that it is Telstra that supply them with your details. My latest phone call to them they said that my husband's details had been removed as I'd previously requested but that Telstra had resubmitted them.

Called Telstra. It is a telemarketing company who are not associated with Telstra but fraudulently use their name, Telstra have put thru a request to remove my number from their database.

So are they a telecom provider or solar panel installers? Keep hanigng up on me. Checked out the website given on my search for the 08 number today (29 May 2013) and they have 1300 959 013 listed on www.eurosolar.com.au
